22.01.2022 Heat 1 grid draw

21.01.2022 Another massive weekend done and dusted Saturday seen us make the journey to Pithara for the street stock classic. Bryden managed to have a good run in the 3 heats after going out in the first heat with a broken axel quick fix and he was good to go.... Travis had some good runs in the heats and also embarked over the side of the Pithara track Due to the timing we opted to pack the cars up and head home instead of running the feature (as we were racing Sunday at Ellenbrook and some of us needed there beauty sleep) Good thing we did head home. We managed to finish our 2 hour journey home before the feature was even held... Sunday and the rain stayed away WOO Bryden Southwell had some good runs in the heats but is struggling to adapt to the street stock on a black race track so he was having fun doing donuts and came home in 11th of the 14 starters. Travis Southwell chased issues again.... car was completely different from that of 2 weeks ago. The issue means it’s now time to spend those $$$ and put in some race suspension the standard just isn’t cutting it anymore and the old $200 wrecker motor just doesn’t have anything else left in her soo all going to plan our next meeting we will have a whole new complete set up for Travis, just burning those 100 dollar bills He did however manage to again beat his brother and come home in 10th in the feature... we do believe that is now 2 weeks in a row big brother has had the upper hand, but who’s counting right As always thanks to everyone who supports us: Christopher John Mclellan for the work in the shed and at the track and for bringing the girls out to watch. Karen Holt Southwell for chauffeuring Bryden around all weekend and keeps us hydrated. Melissa Amy for as always supporting and encouraging us to go faster and she doesn’t like it when we go slow. Zoe Southwell and Tyler Barradeen for making the trip up from Albany, next time we will see you will be in your backyard so have those beds ready November is coming !!! 21.01.2022 Albany done and dusted Bryden Southwell started 3rd finished 2nd Travis Southwell started 7th and finished 4th Top 4 finish for both boys ... We have had an absolute ball tonight

15.01.2022 We will raffle the car same as last one we did using the UK national lotto, consisting of 1-59 numbers, at It will draw a lucky last ball called a Bonus ball ... this ball will decided the winner, once all the numbers are taken we, will then take payment and the first Saturday draw will be the game we use, results will be posted first thing Sunday morning as the time difference! 200$ a number cheap way of making a kid happy! 08.01.2022 Unfortunately got washed out for our third rounds of heats today Bryden has had a really good day so far Travis unfortunately having teething problems with the new motor but we are confident we have found the issues and fixed it so bring on tomorrow We begin by finishing our third round of heats then I’m pretty sure we have a few more heats followed by the mains 24 cars will make the A Main tomorrow

05.01.2022 Just a little update as to where the team is. Yesterday we ventured down to Collie for some much needed love on Trav’s #39. After a couple of months in the making Travs car has a new heart. Hopefully this will give him some more ponies and some more confidence. He has also ordered some new stickit suspension which we are hoping will arrive in time for this weeks Brian Rose RDA 100 meeting. Theres a few people we need to thank for getting the car to this point. ... Jamie and Adelle Buszan from auto panel and paint for helping us get all the new engine components. Rob Trenaman and Adele Crowe from Treny’s Injector Cleaning. Rob has been with our team since our wingless days and is always ready to help both boys out. 03.01.2022 Well another race day at Albany. Just a few adjustments and we are ready to go. Unfortunately the W39 Travis isn’t with us today but will be supporting from home. W63 Bryden will be doing it for the team tonight all live feeds thru this page.

02.01.2022 It is with great excitement that the Albany Speedway Club today announce great supporters of the club AVEG as the naming rights holder to the 2020-2021 Speedway... Sedans Western Australia Street Stock Title. AVEG are excited to not only be the main sponsor of this event for the second year in a row but also to have it at their home track. Over the past 15 years AVEG (Albany Vegetable Export Growers) has been providing Albany, the Great Southern and neighbouring areas with freshest local and seasonal fruit and vegetable produce. Over that period our family-owned and operated business has grown significantly, from our origins as a produce exporter, to our brand new retail store located on Sanford Rd which was completed in 2019 and the online fruit and vegetable boxes. The weekend will kick off with practice on the 22nd January 2021 from 4-6pm with a Calcutta from 7pm which will also feature food and a band.
