07.01.2022 Today I have been prepping for a new job I start on Wednesday. I will be joining Deniliquin High School as a para professional artist, working with small groups... of students, encouraging them to make ART their thing! This year the school is running a really cool program working with our local indigenous learning centre "Yarkuwa" running culture classes. Last week the students took part in grass weaving workshops, so to follow on from that, my first sessions at school will be about weaving with paper. Colour, pattern, structure. I think its a good place to start. Super excited about this fantastic opportunity to work with the young people of Deni. I just know we are going to make great art together! #art #weaving #weavingwithpaper #colour #texture #structure #pattern #artstudents #deniliquinhighschool #artist #sharing #creating #creative #arttherapy
