So many new buildings to see as well as the well known and loved ones. The light rail has changed traffic routes and it was lovely to see venues opening up again.

03.01.2022 A fantastic day was had by all as we took in the art displays at the State Library and the floral displays throughout the Royal Botanic Gardens. The sun was shining, the plants were showing off and the ice cream hit the spot!

03.01.2022 Last week our clients undertook the unique opportunity to visit bespoke Tilba Tilba, in the heart of the Eurobodalla Shire. Basing ourselves in Narooma, we experienced the best of the Southern Coast’s pristine beaches and the breathtaking natural beauty of Tilbas surrounding region. We drove down on Tuesday, stopping at Shoalhaven Zoo to see some furry friends, before having a quick bite at the local Ex Serviceman’s club. We pushed on to Narooma, where we checked in and dined... at The Whale Inn. Our amazing adventure through the forests of Eurobodalla on Wednesday saw our clients experiencing the best of eclectic stores, romantic gardens and historic towns nestled in the heart of of the Tilba region. First, our drivers took us on an adventure to Australia Rock in Narooma, where we watched wild seals frolicking and sunning themselves by the ocean. Next, we went to Foxglove Gardens for morning tea and a tour, then on to Tilba Winery and Alehouse for a hearty lunch and some wine tasting. But the highlight was Central Tilba where we browsed the local shops, indulged in the local produce and sat down for dinner at The Dromedary Hotel. Thursday, we returned to base, but not before stopping at Jervis Bay to embark on upon a Whale spotting cruise. The sea was choppy and we didn’t make it past the heads, but we were in good hands with our Captain, who took us on an impromptu tour of the bay as we scouted for more wildlife. Our efforts were rewarded when the local dolphin pod native to the bay took some time out from their foraging to swim along side the boat and pose for some pictures. We retired to Huskisson for some local fare at the eateries overlooking the water before hitting the highway and getting home before dark. Tilba Tilba and the Eurobodalla shire is such a gorgeous region, it was such a privilege to be able to support the local businesses recovering from the bushfires and lockdown. Everywhere we stopped was so accommodating, the staff were always generous and kind and we look forward to returning with more wonderful clients.

01.01.2022 South West Community Transport recently combined with Transdev to teach some students of John Therry Catholic College some helpful information around Travel Training. A classroom discussion followed by a field trip to a local shopping centre was the perfect training experience for the students. We covered areas such as how to top up your Opal Card, how to plan a trip using the Trip Planner website and social distancing measures on board public transport. We could not have made this happen without the support of Transdev. Thank you for working along side us and making the day successful.

01.01.2022 Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! Great turn out on a beautiful day, as we visited Sydney Zoo; world class zoo in the heart of Western Sydney. We got up close and personal with native favorites and exotic animals, watched a domestic spat between some fiesty primates and visited Saigon, one of Australia's last circus elephants, in her retirement. Easily accessible, state of the art facilities and the Sydney Zoo staff could not have been more helpful. 10 out of 10, would go again! Keep an eye on your postbox; new calendar drops soon!
