08.01.2022 The joys and frustrations with rain as a farmer. These photos are of paddocks side by side. One, the lucerne crop lapped up the 30mm of heavy rain we got a week ago. The other is our cotton which has struggled to come out of the ground, due to being too wet and then having to push through a 20mm crust. Keeps you humble knowing you're not really in control.

06.01.2022 The boy's are busy baling and cutting new season oats.

05.01.2022 We have a couple of Chicken hawk babies being raised in the hay shed. Hopefully they will be up and away before the cats etc find them. Their parents have made this shed home for several years now and attempt to raise a clutch each spring.
