Belt up. is a road safety awareness campaign to promote wearing seat belts on WA roads to reduce the severity of injury in a crash. The message is simple. WEAR A SEAT BELT. Belt up! We don’t want you to become another statistic on our roads. WANT FREE HELMETS???? Thanks to the WACA’s partnership with the Insurance Commission, Belt Up branded helmets will be distributed to junior and senior clubs across the state. 15.01.2022 Volunteers of the Month We at the WACA are once again proud to bring you, our monthly instalment of 'Volunteer of the Month', to recognise the outstanding contributions of our amazing volunteers within the community Congratulations to Michelle and Adam, from Phoenix Beeliar Junior Cricket Club, on being recognised as the 'Volunteers of the Month' for the South West Metro region.... Cricket in our community would not be possible without people like you #WestIsBest ##volunteersrock #VolunteerVibes Amongst her committee member roles, Michelle is the Master Blasters Co-ordinator, and is a true gem. Her amazing vibe and the passion she has for all things cricket and her club, is next level. Nothing is too much to ask of her, as she just loves what she does, and seeing the kids smiles each week for her, is a reward in itself. Adam is also a committee member, and is their legend of a Junior Blaster Co-ordinator . . . the co-ordination, organisation, and parent engagement is superb, with the aim of the game achieved each week - smiles on the dials of the gorgeous kids. Both Adam and Michelle are huge assets of the fantabulous Phoenix Beeliar Junior Cricket Club crew, and we look forward to seeing their cricket journey continue for years to come !
