25.01.2022 Amazing Teams practice Well done to all girls and ladies for working so hard today!

21.01.2022 Dear Members, To keep all Western Australians safe, particular businesses and venues must maintain a contact register of patrons, staff, visitors and contractors for COVID-19 contact tracing, if required. Community facilities and halls are amongst the list of venues which require to keep the register. This will begin on the 5th December. Details required are location, date, name, telephone number and arrival time. This is only for people 16 years and over who enter the Austra...lind Hall, the Eaton family center and the SW Italian club. Southwest Physie will - keep contact details for 28 days - store the information confidentially and securely We have the right to deny entry to anyone who refuses to provide their contact information. The WA Government has developed the SafeWA app. This is a free system that uses QR codes to register attendance. It's quick, convenient, easy to use and contactless. SafeWA can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. We would encourage everyone to downloap the app if you can, especially for registering at the Showcase however we will have a paper contact register which can be filled out at all venues. The SafeWA app sends accurate information directly to WA Health to access if it becomes necessary. Posters with the QR code to scan will be displayed outside of each venue and the paper register inside the foyers. example of the posters that wil be displalyed with the QR code to scan below Thank you for your cooperation and understanding and if you need any further information please visit https://www.wa.gov.au//covid-19-coronavirus-safewa-guide-p Miss Bec, Miss Michelle and the Southwest Teaching Team.

06.01.2022 THE BjP SYLLABUS The BjP Syllabus is comprised of seven different routines which are all designed to target specific areas and skills. The age appropriate choreography is designed to teach rythym, co-ordination, balance & movement. The different routines are as follows: MARCHING:... Marching is specifically designed to enable us to warm up our muscles, get the heart rate going, as well as work on our posture, toe pointing, strength, and stamina. When marching is done properly, it works every single muscle in our bodies! WARM-UP: The warm-up is a fun dance/cardio/ aerobics workout that targets control in all movements, correct positions as well as strength. Its great to watch and definitely gets the heart going! Don’t forget to SMILE!!! EXERCISES: Exercises is a routine that requires, concentration, strength, balance flexibility and exact positions. This required to be sharp, and precise. BREATHING/RELAXED/CONTEMPORARY: After all that hard work with the above routines, its time to relax, and breathe! Breathing/Relaxed is quite self explanatory and is based on ballet and contemporary. It targets correct ballet and contemporary positions as well as grace, poise, turn out and pretty hands and pretty feet FLOORDRILL: Floordrill is all floor work, and targets all areas of the body, flexibility, correct positions, control, and strength. Floordrills look fantastic when you are properly stretched! DANCE: Everyone loves to dance! The dance is based on all types of dance, jazz, modern, hip hop, done to modern music, and this also gets the heart pumping. The Dance requires lots of smiling and pizazz! Its all about the show!
