25.01.2022 A coolant temperature sensor contains a thermistor that changes resistance as temperature changes. As the coolant in the engine heats up, the ECT sensor sends a corresponding signal to the ECU so it can correctly calculate the fuel mixture. When a coolant temperature sensor fails, it sends an incorrect signal to the ECU; usually a low temperature signal even when engine coolant temperatures are high. This causes the ECU to calculate a higher fuel/air mixture ratio and usually causes problems like hard starting and rough running. http://capricorn.vehiclevisuals.com/animation_link.php http://www.sovereignautomotive.com.au

21.01.2022 We are proud to announce we can now record and update ONLINE LOG-BOOKS using the electronic cloud-base system for BMW and MINI. Since 2014, BMW and MINI's have... not come with the usual hard-copy service book. Instead of this, the service history is uploaded onto the vehicle's on-board computer as well as the server at BMW headquarters in Munich. We are one, of only a few Independent Specialists who have the capability to access and upload service data on BMW and MINI's.

08.01.2022 Most gasoline powered vehicles use an electric fuel pump located in the fuel tank to force fuel into the engine. The pump is submerged in fuel, which helps to keep the electric motor from overheating. Fuel is pumped at high pressures through a fuel filter to the fuel injectors. Electric fuel pumps can fail suddenly without warning signs, or may fail partially - with a drop in the amount of fuel the pump is able to deliver. This will result in a loss of power under extreme load conditions, such as when driving up a steep hill, or accelerating to join a fast moving road. 07.01.2022 When and why does my timing belt need replacing? Unlike your brakes, there is no warning sign to tell you, your timing belt is wearing down. Your vehicle will simply operate smoothly one moment and fail the next. Understanding this, it is of the utmost importance to observe the service guidelines specified in your manufacturers logbook, and to always get your timing belt replaced on time. ... In doing this you will save yourself major repairs in the future as well as your vehicle warranty. For some cars, this can mean a timing belt replacement every 60 000km or four years. For other vehicles it is every 100 000km or five years. https://capricorn.vehiclevisuals.com/animation_link.php

05.01.2022 Pollen Filter The cabin air filter is usually located under the hood, near the windshield or under the vehicle's dashboard, near the glove box. It filters the air as it is drawn in by the blower motor. The filter mechanically filters dirt and particles entering the cabin of the vehicle, but the filter also contains a layer of carbon that filters out unpleasant odours. A cabin air filter that is plugged will decrease the flow of air through the air vents. The cabin air filter... should be checked regularly. https://capricorn.vehiclevisuals.com/animation_link.php
