Come and stock up on your pantry essentials of flour, sugar, pulse, grain, pasta, nuts, seeds, oils and vinegar. We also have a limited amount of fruit, vege, dairy, meat and small goods up for grabs ... 22.01.2022 Something exciting has happened recently. We received a few hundred kilos of new season brown rice from Slater Farms. Why is this exciting? Well, last season, there was no rice planted due to drought. It’s been two years since we’ve tasted the deliciousness of Slater’s rainfed rice. The last few weeks we have been celebrating by eating rice most days and I’m still not bored of it. If you’ve been enjoying it too, let us and Slater’s know by posting your favourite recipe

Echo Valley Farms supply us with amazing eggs, pork and beef. If you’ve gotten any of these items through any of the co-ops we supply, then you’ve already supported Echo Valley. Why not support them just a little more so Apollo can get back to work?

19.01.2022 Did you know that we run a little Midweek Member’s Market at our warehouse every Wednesday from 4pm-7pm? Market Members can preorder fruit, vege, meat, bread, dairy and other small goods as well as our usual range of Australian grown pantry produce. If you'd like to join the our midweek member's market, you can create an account on this page:... https://lettuceshare.org/moorooka Here's how the market works: 1. Once you create an account, you can order via the same site from Thursday 5pm until Monday 8am. 2. All items on the availability are sourced from Australian growers 3. All items are organic or biodynamic unless otherwise specified. 4. We do our best to source everything that you have ordered, however there may be times our suppliers and makers can't fill our orders. If this happens, we'll adjust your order sheet. 5. You can come and get your pre-ordered goodies at the warehouse on Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm. With the current pandamic, we are packing your order for you in order to minimise the number of people around the fresh fruit and vegetables. There's a $5 packing fee for orders under $50 or under 8 line items, and a $8 packing fee for orders over $50 or over 8 line items. 6. If you make an order on the system, please ensure you come and get it on the Wednesday night. This is the only fresh food group we do for the rest of the week, so we are unable to sell your pre-ordered goodies to someone else if you change your mind, and will need to charge you for these items. 7. There's no joining fee to the member's market. You can be a member simply by making at least one order per month. 8. Members get 10% off stock in the retail space. Note, with the current pandamic we are limiting the number of people in the retail space to three customers at a time. You can pre-order many of the things in the retail space if you know what you want, otherwise you are welcome to browse when you come to pick up your fresh fruit and vege.

We've made this decision so we can focus on meeting the growing needs of wholesale and retail customers through the week. Sovereign Foods started at West End markets, and before we were Sovereign Foods, Thor was simply 'that potato guy' just on 14 years ago.
