25.01.2022 Really appreciated this article from Kirsten Black, a Mum of 5 boys... Though the situation is a little different here in Australia, the advice and thoughts for us in the strange time of 'Covid-Gatherings' is gold!!

22.01.2022 This past week, we gathered again - as people from 20+ nationalities, different generations, varying economic brackets, with diverse experiences and talents, each one of us different from the other - and yet ONE IN CHRIST. As people who would otherwise have nothing in common, Christ has brought us together such that each one of us is individually and uniquely valued and affirmed because of His work of grace in our lives. Our unity in diversity points straight back to Jesus an...d proclaims His wisdom and glory. So what a great reminder then, to hear Dave’s sermon from Colossians 3:11, and be spurred on to eagerly maintain the unity that Christ has won for us. We had a few problems with the video this week, so if you’d like to listen to the complete sermon, you can find it on SoundCloud or on our podcast.

20.01.2022 Don't let COVID stop you from celebrating Christmas!! Come and join our online service this Christmas Eve!!

19.01.2022 As we gathered this Sunday, we worshipped the Lord in gratitude. Expressing thankfulness to the Lord for who He is and what He has done is possibly one of the simplest forms of worship. Brendan’s sermon was filled with really helpful practical ways to grow in thankfulness, and encouraged us to pick one and go for it. You can listen to the sermon again on SoundCloud, or watch the Live Stream on YouTube.

19.01.2022 What a wonderful opportunity to pause and remember God’s faithfulness to us as a church this past Sunday. Ten years ago, Sovereign Grace Sydney was established. And as Dave shared on Sunday, it really is the Lord’s doing - and it’s marvellous in our eyes. As Dave preached so well, our story is a Godward story - a story of His grace and faithfulness to us. Many people contributed to make the day special, but here’s a few to note:... PHOTO VIDEO - Abi Chavez put together a video for us. Check it out on our YouTube Channel. COOKIES - Phoebe Yap made us some amazing cookies to celebrate. GIFTS FOR DADS - Brigitte Thearle and Donita Jones used their creative skills to honour our Dads for Father’s day with SG key rings. MORE PHOTOS - Robert Viuya took some brilliant photos to help us remember the day. You can watch the service on our YouTube channel or listen to the sermon audio, which is available on our podcast.

19.01.2022 This week we finished off our mission series with a look at prayer. What a great reminder that apart from Christ we can do nothing (John 15:5), and a huge encouragement that we don’t have to do this on our own - He is always with us (Matthew 28:20)! If you missed the sermon you can it watch it on our YouTube Channel or listen to it on SoundCloud.

19.01.2022 Last week we continued our series through the Psalms with Simon Walker preaching from Psalm 13. What a hope filled message we have in the gospel, and what an example of trust we have in Christ! If you we unable to join us or missed it online, you can check it out on our YouTube Channel, Podcasts, or Soundcloud.

16.01.2022 Living in 2021 Christian faith can be difficult to understand and so every month we're spending some time exploring the common questions people ask. Come and join us on February 16 as we take a look at the common question, 'How can you believe in hell & judgement?" For more info visit: www.sovgrace.org.au/msg

14.01.2022 Want to grow in sexual intimacy with your wife? We're holding a panel discussion and night of Q&A for our married men and would you to join!

13.01.2022 This past Sunday in our gatherings Brendan took us deep into the issue of thankfulness - a theme that underpins Paul’s words to us in Colossians 3:15-17. There’s so much to think about and apply to our lives on this issue - and worth thinking deeply about. Listening again to the sermon would be a great way to start that process. Find the sermon on our Podcast, SoundCloud or YouTube channel.

13.01.2022 This past Sunday we celebrated International Sunday. And there is so much to celebrate! Because of Christ we have brought together from different backgrounds, languages and cultures and MADE ONE FAMILY in Christ Jesus. Pastor Brendan Willis preached an excellent sermon from Revelation 7. Whether you joined us online or in person, it would be worth a listen. Check it out on our YouTube Channel, SoundCloud or podcast.

11.01.2022 Last week; sang together for the first time in 8 months! While this season has not been what we would have chosen, we’ve learnt new ways to apply Ephesians 5:19: addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart... The Lord has been kind and gracious, and the freedoms we currently enjoy to meet and sing with masks should leave us grateful to Him. We continued our Advent series this week as we looked further at the person and work of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to behold Him more clearly this Christmas. Brendan preached from John 3:1-15 with some great application to us. If you missed the service you can watch it on our YouTube Channel or listen to it on SoundCloud/Podcasts.

06.01.2022 In 2020 many people find it difficult to understand how faith in the God of the Bible is possible, so we're starting a new series called, "Making Sense of God". There'll be a short panel discussion and live Q&A and everyone's welcome! Tomorrow night we're starting our series with one of the most common questions people ask when trying to make sense of Christian faith, "Is God Anti LGBT+?" For more information or to join our webinar visit: sovgrace.org.au/msg

02.01.2022 For many people, faith in the God of the Bible in 2020 can be difficult to understand, so we're running a short series to try and give a Christian perspective on a variety of different common questions.
