24.01.2022 Another one of Qld top sailors Michel Van der Pilgt (Vando) is now using our Clip Lines bought from Sowindy.com.au his first session was only a light wind sail but he is already impressed by saying (First try of the new Clip harness lines very happy so far, being stiff makes them very easy to hook and unhook them.Smile)
24.01.2022 I have been testing the GPSlogit app on a old Andriod I got for free working with Manfred the developer the app is really coming together well its now on about its 4th trail download due for sale soon. I have tested it in the car and once on the water. The girl who talks is called Heidi she constantly tells you your speed while moving above a set speed you can also set her to just tell you your last run speed like speed genie. I tried it on the water with Heidi chat on in my ...Quapac but I could not really hear her so I have now bought a On Board pac with their waterproof ear phones from http://www.boatingandrv.com.au/ I am yet to test it on the water but the pac seems very high quality I will test it for leaks in my pool first but am sure it will be ok. The trail app for Adroid only is at http://www.gps-speed.com/gpslogit.html The app has everything on the display on a big phone screen from your 2sec, 10sec, dist, alpha and more if your a bit blind you can also hit the magnifier which brings up the set results in huge font as in my picture. 21.01.2022 I have just spent 3 days sailing at Burrum I got SE too SSE winds around 15 to 20kts and just letting everyone know the banks are the same as they always have been just unreal. Looking good for windfest although its a long way off the banks should be the same. I love this place
20.01.2022 Sowindy team have been busy testing out some new harness lines. We have had some great results in the test over the last month so we asked CLIPHARNESSLINES if they would make us the Australian Exclusive distributor which they since have done. With the little wind around this time of year I was able to give them some good testing & I found them very good I was expecting them to be a bit elastic but they proved me wrong I found them very stiff and they just keep their shape th...ey seem to be there in the right spot when hooking and unhooking and they don’t slip with their unique locking clip. Benefits no need to undo your boom to fit long lasting, UV resistant and fantastic colours. I have gone ahead and ordered some stock which arrives soon we are hopping our first shipment will be here this week. I have ordered all the colours apart from white & have already taken some 13 orders. Sizes are 20-26 and 26-34 adjustable. 19.01.2022 I have been sent a KA Koncept 7mt too test I just got it today. I will be testing it on the water I want to make sure they are as good as the Lofts I use before buying KA. The sail has been supplied by Mark Jordan Windsurfing shop Port Macquarie and is for sale if anyone is keen please PM for more details. This sail take a 430/21 RDM or SDM and is like new.

I surf half year in Morocco in strong winds and the other half in Brazil in super hard sun !! Sailing about 300 times a year, I can say if an equipment is reliable or not ! We have been working a lot on the new Clip lines shape to improve even more the durability of it !! Still keeping them so easy to fix and unfix and ...now perfectly "stiff" to hook in and out as you wish !! 16.01.2022 Been using my new Patric Diethelm 110 board for some time now its been going really good so far I have got a 35kts 2sec this was on my first day at Lota Creek Moreton Bay Brisbane. I also got a 29kt NM at Burrum Heads this week. I tried my 7.8 sail on it yesterday and the combo felt really nice with a BP WS42 the tide at Wellington Point was high making it very choppy with 15 to 20kts of wind but the board handled it well at no stage did the board behave bad I even got a 33kts 2sec which was good for the conditions. I am going to keep pushing this board I want to squeeze 40kts out of it I really think I can do it on a good day while am waiting for my 87lt I have ordered ill be giving it a go.
15.01.2022 As the northerlies and easterlies will soon be starting everyone should know that the tree that was cut down in may by vandals is still stuck in the mud right where everyone sails you will not see it at high tide so sailing here at mid or high tide we will need to stay clear. Not sure if we can move it as its most likely well stuck by now.

13.01.2022 New 92 Patrik arrived yesterday how nice it is unwrapping a new board and I must say it looks like a rocket ship. Love the new graphics and the board feels very light. 12.01.2022 I have sold some Clip Harness Lines and we are starting to get some good feedback from some top sailors who have been testing them out the wind this time of year is not that good but Geoff Ringe at Hervey Bay Qld has used them and he is looking to further test them but so far he is very happy giving them 10 out of 10 here is his comments on GPSTC site http://gpsteamchallenge.com.au/sailor_session/show I have sold 15 down NSW but no wind means they are yet to try them I will brag once I here back from them..

08.01.2022 Phil Knot, John Scott Jarreau Rogers Shannon Blume Peter Bilski, Hannu V, Jinksey, Haircut and I sailing The Spit Gold Coast Qld 13.7.15 when the vid was taken the wind had stared dying and the tide was getting up but before this we were getting some 2k runs up and down the sandbar still gusty but probably the best day ever for this spot. Wind was at its best 15 to 25kts from the WNW the sun was out making the cold wind not too bad water was a nice 20c. 06.01.2022 Got my new 2016 KA sails after a big wait. 6.2 Koncept 7.0 Koncept 7.9 Race Looks good and I was amazed how easy they are to rig bit hard to fit the cams but d...own haul can be done with one hand and placing the cams on the mast very very easy.
