20.01.2022 So much confusion this morning with Southern States going into daylight savings this morning but it meant I could take my time setting up that's right I got up 1 hour too early! But I wasn't the only @clevelandmarkets stallholders to do so it does mean we are all set and ready to go and we'll be here until 1pm (I might just be napping though). Ps I usually have my phone set to manual time and date to avoid these issues but I think my Fitbit has been the cause of confusion as the alarm went off at 3am which is when the clocks changed and things just went downhill from there

18.01.2022 These would have to be my favourite embeds I have created this year! Well the mushrooms and flowers were. The moon gave me a little bit of grief - 36-hours to be precise. However I am stubborn enough that I won the battle with the moon and I can't wait to share the soap these have gone onto which I can reveal on the weekend. 15.01.2022 Have you been on your feet all day? Then why not treat them to our Lavender & Nettle Foot Soak! We begin by creating a house blend of Pink Himalayan, Epsom and Rock sea salts before adding a mix of botanicals and essential oils. Try our Lavender Dreams Room and Pillow Mist; a water based spray made with Lavender water and a custom blend of essential oils that are know to create a calm and relaxed feeling. To soften the essentials oils and add a little warm to blend, a small amount of Vanilla fragrance is also added. This Room and Pillow Mist is perfect to spray throughout the bedroom but my favourite trick is to spray on a my yoga towel/mat for a calming workout

13.01.2022 Not everything goes to plan here at Soy and Shea! Despite making who knows how many bars of soap over the years, sometimes I just forget things. This soap is a good example of me forgetting that bars of soap made with high coconut oil and sea salt need to be cut with in hours of making and not over 24-hours later The result was one broken soap cutter and some very wonky cut bars - definitely not my usual standard There were a few other issues with this soap including ...it being much smaller than I intended but at the end of the day, it is still a perfectly usable bar of soap that feels amazing on the skin. They have a couple more days until they are ready for packaging, but once they are, they will be hitting the shelves as seconds and you can grab yourself a bargain! 06.01.2022 Although not the first body product I ever made, this Face Scrub was the first product I made with the sole intention of making for myself! I love a good Face Scrub and I wanted to make sure I was creating something I was happy to add to my own skin. There has been some changes over the last 7 years like adding Activated Charcoal and creating a custom blend of essential oils for it, but the idea has always remained the same. I wanted to create a Facial Scrub with gentle cleansing ingredients and plant based exfoliants that would leave the skin feeling clean, fresh and energised. Clays and plant based extracts are added to help draw away the unwanted oils but still leave the skin feeling hydrated. Although I only used 3-4 times a week, it is gentle enough to use daily.

05.01.2022 Strawberry Cream Cake! How good does this one look? I don't often think my soap looks like food but I must admit, my mouth was watering as I cut into this one! That may have also had something to do with the fragrance - juicy ripe strawberries dusted with sweet sugar!
