24.01.2022 With the exciting news of playgrounds opening in Melbourne this week, we thought we'd take a look back at this unique fan engagement project we worked on with TLA Worldwide. SPACECUBE provided the modular infrastructure for the 'Adeventure Hill' Playground at the Cricket Australia 'KFC Big Bash League' at the Adelaide Oval. SPACECUBE integrated Goplay Commercial Playgrounds with four cubes, an internal stair module and two terrace decks. The technical drawings, design, render...ing and installation all done by our team. This world-first playground inside a sporting arena has been shortlisted for ‘Best Gen Z or Kids Activation’ at the Hashtag Sports Awards. 21.01.2022 What a beautiful day for the Melbourne Cup today! It’s a little different to usual with no crowds or glamorous event facilities in The Birdcage at Flemington Racecourse. However, SPACECUBE is thrilled to be providing Network 10’s Broadcasting Hub for the week. The hub was built using 10 cubes, 3 roof terraces, a 2m stair module and 2 single storey Clearspan mezzanines. Inside the studio you’ll find a fully functional broadcasting studio with insulated ceiling panels for sound absorption, angled glass for TV recording, 4 studio sets, tech BOH, a green room, makeup room and producers office. What a shame the game couldn’t be held on its usual home ground at the MCG in Melbourne but good luck to the Geelong Cats and Richmond Tigers in Queensland! 15.01.2022 With the MasterChef Australia finals on this week, it got us thinking about last year’s Jacob's Creek Kitchen Collective and Terrace Bar, which put people in the shoes of a MasterChef contestant. The pop-up kitchen and dining experience, was set in the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens. It had breath-taking views of the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge and was built using 4 of our modular cubes and 2 clear span pitched roof sections. 14.01.2022 Visualisation and renders are a key aspect to our design process and give our clients the ability to visualise what the end product will look like, before committing to the final design and layout. We find this helps perfect the design and gives our clients comfort. Technical design and documentation are also crucial to the seamless execution of the modular build process. 08.01.2022 SPACECUBE had the opportunity to provide a fully operational broadcasting studio for Network 10 at the 2020 F1 Australian Grand Prix. Although the event was unfortunately cut short, the Network 10 crew did get to experience using the suite for live TV.
