20.01.2022 Works are currently well progressed on a warehouse, workshop and administration office at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast, for Weir Minerals. With a floor area of 2,201m, the new facility expands Weir Minerals current facility which is located next door. The existing facility is the manufacturing facility, service centre and sales office. The expansion currently being constructed will be were the finish projects will be loaded for dispatch to service their mining, infrastructur...e and oil and gas customers in more than 50 countries. The overhead crane was installed a couple of weeks ago. Although slightly bigger than the entry gate, the trailer and crane arrived and was erected without a hitch! #thespaceframeway #weirminerals

As part of the fund raising last year, we were privileged enough to be asked by GDQ to name the puppies from the next litter to be born. Kimba was the brave Mum. We ran a competition with staff to name the V litter pups. there were 6 in the litter. 4 boys, two girls. their names are Vance, Venture, Volt and Valiant and the gorgeous girls are Vera and Violet

12.01.2022 Big toys for a big site - not something you see every day! Earthworks have commenced on site for our newest project at Rudd Street, Oxley for a long term Spaceframe client. A scraper coupled to another scraper doubles up the grunt of the machines. One is pulling, as a tractor would and the other is pushing it along. ... These machines cut as they go and then discharge in another location so they work as a cut to fill type operation. #thespaceframeway #construction #queensland

11.01.2022 A construction update all the way from Kawana, Rockhampton QLD! Friday 28th of August marked the end of week 4 onsite for our client Sherrin Rentals Pty Ltd on the design and construction of a new Office and Workshop complex. So far 30.16 tonnes of structural steel has been fabricated and erected on site. ... If mother nature sticks to her side of the bargain we are looking at a very sunny week up there to commence with roofing, hydraulics, sewer, stormwater and trade waste works. 08.01.2022 We are delighted to be working with Woolworths Group again on the design and construction of the Woolworths Townsville Regional Distribution Centre. Spaceframe Buildings was pleased to be involved in the first sod turning event on 6 December 2019, with our Joint Managing Director Peter Raspotnik and General Manager Bill OFlaherty, joining the Townsville Mayor Jenny Hill on the site, along members of the WOW national team. Some project statistics... 180 tonne of structural steel will be fabricated and erected 6500m New Roof area 6000m Post tensioned concrete slabs 8350m concrete external hardstand Over 1km of in-ground stormwater pipe Upon completion the site will more than double its footprint to 10,000sqm. 07.01.2022 A few snaps of the Woolworths Townsville new distribution centre completed by Spaceframe Buildings Pty Ltd in June 2020. The expansion will create 30 additional permanent jobs in the area. Woolworths says this will make it the largest food and grocery distribution centre in North Queensland and significantly boosting the capacity of warehouse to service local stores.

This year, the poster and promotional materials feature mural artwork at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl by Melbournes talented artist Matt Adnate of young Jedda, a Wurundjeri ...and Kalkadoon girl. In support of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, Spaceframe Buildings and the Raspotnik family were thrilled to collaborate with GIVIT to assist in the design and construction of a fully fitted out ablutions block and outdoor class room to make a difference in the lives of the young female students at the Alta-1 Kununurra School.
