08.01.2022 A big THANK YOU to some of our lovely ladies here at Space, who have knitted all these lovely beanies for the babies in Tanzania and also to The Silva Spoon Tea & Coffee Emporium, in Cotton Tree who kindly donated money so we could buy some wool. These have now been handed over to the Graduate Women (Sunshine Coast) who are coordinating a drive in connection with Capt Jan Becker ,CEO of Becker Helicopters, RN and Midwife. Jan has worked extensively in Tanzania and other parts of Africa and is passionate about improving maternal and neonatal health. Currently 80 premature babies are born daily in Uganda and many subsequently die.
