16.01.2022 Attention, this is not a game nor funny! If you ever see your cat or dog doing this, you need to take him urgently to the vet. Some owners may find this behavio...r funny but it has a medical reason. It's known as Head Pressing, cats and dogs also horses do this when they are suffering from a terrible headache. They are suffering so much that they need to press their head against the wall. Due to a damage to the nervous system, animals act like this. The causes can be from a toxic poisoning, a disease of the forebrain, a tumor in the head, an injury after an accident, etc. Care to share.

04.01.2022 Spot the difference! The boxes are exactly the same size as theyre both Woolworths home brands made by the same manufacturer. Smitten is glorified with pretty ...packaging, but both are high carb boxes of cereals and cereal by-products that cats cant easily digest because theyre obligate carnivores!! If you feed either of these to your cats, then its worth considering the long term harm which could be caused by these foods. Its no wonder so many cats end up with renal failure. https://www.petfoodreviews.com.au//smitten-woolworths-hom/ Bonus challenge: See if you can find the chicken and seafood in either formula!

03.01.2022 THE IMPORTANCE OF MUZZLES! I was just out with the girls, I had walked them up to the park and they were tethered together slowly walking and sniffing up a stor...m on the footy oval, only slightly in front of me. My foot in range to step on the lead if needed. I notice a car pull up on the other side and two people get out with a football. No worries, theyre on the other side. We will just walk to the next gate and leave. Next minute I see two small poodle crosses CHARGING at us full pelt. Gracie has seen these two small fast moving things and flicked her switch straight into prey mode. She launches at the lighter and smaller of the two dogs and is on top of it snarling and biting. The dog squeals in fear and Gracie stopped and went "oh, youre a dog." She steps back and the dog gets up and all 4 sniff politely and I ended up letting them have a small run around together. No serious harm done. 1. Not ONCE did these owners bother to recall their dogs. 2. If Gracie was NOT wearing a muzzle there would have been a severe bite incident that would have been on my hands. Gracie is known to have a high prey drive, unpredictability around dogs and people (fear based), and can sniff out a toenail from a mile away and pounce on it to eat whatever she finds whether its food, carcasses, you name it shes on it. Now, knowing what I know about Gracies behaviour, it was my choice to muzzle train her to eliminate all the risks to herself and to others. I cant knowingly have her out and about without a muzzle knowing the risks are there. SO, if you have a dog who is unpredictable/reactive/aggressive to humans/other animals, who has a high prey drive, who is a walking vacuum and can and will eat anything, whether its a Great Dane or a Chihuahua, I highly highly recommend you look into muzzle training to protect yourself, protect others, protect other animals/wildlife, and protect your dog. And for fucks sake, dont have your dogs off lead if they have no recall. EDIT: as soon as I saw the dogs coming I grabbed the lead. They were under control with leash in hand but a lead didnt stop the OTHER dogs rushing mine.
