25.01.2022 Spacescape was engaged to design and project managed a new youth mental health space for the western region. Working with a group of young people we were able to interpret their health needs as well as make it a friendly and comfortable space. This building was completely transformed in a matter of months!!

21.01.2022 The residents wanted a new fresh look for their Clubroom and Boardroom without huge expense. So we reused the silk material from the existing curtains to update the look by adding pelmets. The existing carpet was replaced by a sophisticated and classic floral carpet tile. They LOVE it! PHOTO 1 before; 2 & 3 after makeover

20.01.2022 This variation on the French flag makes a great looking feature wall. Plan your design, measure and mark out with painters tape and then grab a brush! Add rustic ornaments to complete the look. In this case we've used an old crate as a shelf, a cast iron and brass bed and gorgeous gold gilded frames on the wall. Voila!!!

19.01.2022 Check out this concept I put together for a client's guest bedroom. The centre piece was an armchair covered in this gorgeous Florence Broadhurst fabric (Peacock Feathers-Chocolate on Zem).

11.01.2022 Kids love a themed bedroom....the hardest part is narrowing down the choices! This garden themed bedroom was a quick an inexpensive transformation. Choosing a darker wall colour makes everything else in the room 'pop'. The decal on the back wall is a modern twist on an old oak tree. Add some silk flowers in small glass bottles and you have a hanging rose garden. The window frame was $5 from a salvage yard. Repaint, replace knob and hinge to wall for a novel indoor window that frames this cute birdcage.Finally, the gorgeous Queen Anne dressing table was restored to create a feature piece.

10.01.2022 Tip: spend your money on the 'big bang - high impact' items. Save on fittings and fixtures by sourcing products online. There's always great value around but make sure all your items come with warranties. Saving on the tapware, vanity units and toilet suite meant we could splash out on these gorgeous black and white marble mosaics for the splashback. Add a high contrast colour to draw attention to your feature.

06.01.2022 Wow guests with a high impact feature in your front entrance. This 1950s inspired Sanderson wallpaper greets visitors on entry. It's in keeping with the age of the home and provides a great talking point.

05.01.2022 Go on.....get out there and make the most of the sales. Bed linen is especially good value at the moment. YEP you guessed it.....adding to my Florence Broadhurst collection (I looooove her).
