19.01.2022 Its taken me all to figure out how to write this post as we have now finished our production of 1984. The end of months of hard work, dedication, fun times, serious times, not much sleep and a bit too much red bull (just me for that last one). I am very proud of the final product we put together and yes there is always room for improvement, these young actors truly impressed by stepping up to the plate and really making the performance what it was. The stepped out of their... comfort zone and took on a really intense script and made it their own. There were struggles and successes throughout the whole process. At the end, what we now get to do is look back on this accomplishment, recognise all the work we did, what worked and what didnt, and put all energy and new learning towards our next performance. And for those who may be following life and wont be in the next show, you can take these memories and experiences with you to cherish and share with others. Be proud of yourselves guys because I am damn well proud of you.
