23.01.2022 Haven't been able to do any imaging for what seems like forever due to a dodgy focuser. Finally, have a new focuser, so here's the first test shot using The Sculptor Galaxy because, well it was in the sky at the time. Imaged during a waxing crescent moon. Not an amazing shot of Sculptor but I do like the full-frame aspect without cropping, it's nice seeing a galaxy with space around it, tends to give it a home in space. I'm just very happy that I can focus with ease now, its a joy to focus in seconds, instead of all night arguing with my old focuser. No bells and whistles in the imaging or processing, no filters, just 2hrs worth of cooled 5dmkiii Raw's. iso 800, 90 & 120sec. DSStacker & basic PS.

22.01.2022 Clear night #2 2020 SO this one has another hour of data added to the previous night's image, but I'm not sure if it helps the first image or not, just different

07.01.2022 Wide angle sky & landscape

03.01.2022 Had my first clear sky last night since October. The sky was a milky way smorgasbord of delights. I had to recalibrate my gear and myself (been so long since). Couldn't stay awake, decided to set a get some batches of data from the Carina Nebula and take a nap. Found 3hrs later my guiding faulted and I ended up with only 1 hour of exposures. I really didn't set up the shot properly anyway, exposure time etc, but even when it seems nothing is going your way and you get nothing you were actually after, NGC3372 just doesn't disappoint.
