15.01.2022 End of year celebrations! Wishing everybody a happy festive season filled with love and all things wonderful. Special thoughts for those who may not be feeling so great about Christmas and whose year may have been difficult. Our year has been one big, ginormous challenge but one we feel we have overcome and ultimately triumphed over. We have a wonderful new clinic which we have happily and gratefully welcomed our beautiful clients into over the past month. We have been ove...rjoyed to see the smiling faces of our dear clients again after our long hiatus. Most of all though, we are grateful for this team of humans pictured here. What a wonderful group of beautiful individuals. Each and every one of them has helped and supported us, gone above and beyond in their job, and been super patient and understanding when our level of organisation has left much to be desired at times(). It’s one thing to find talented therapists, but it’s another thing altogether to find people of such integrity and kindness as well. We are so, so lucky. We can’t wait to see what we can achieve as a team in 2021. This is only the beginning and we are all brimming with ideas on how to keep getting better and better at the services we provide. 14.01.2022 PREGNANCY MASSAGE There have been reports in the media this week about the pandemic baby boom. Based on the number of pregnancy massage bookings we are getting at the moment, I’d suggest the reports are spot on! Our therapists are trained in pregnancy massage techniques and we offer remedial massage as well as relaxation. We have a specialised pregnancy cushion which allows most women to comfortably lie face down if they wish.... 07.01.2022 2020 A year to remember for so many reasons. Some great. Some not so great. If there’s one common theme that has featured in discussions with clients since our reopening, it’s the lessons that COVID lockdown taught us. Slowing down. Smelling the roses. Connecting with loved ones. Life’s simple pleasures. ... The challenge we have set ourselves as business owners is to not lose sight of those lessons as we move forward. To avoid jumping straight back on the hamster wheel that we lived on before. A never ending stream of activities with no time to jump off for a rest or to take stock and appreciate the moments. May 2021 arrive at a walking pace, and stay that way. May we give ourselves permission to rest. May we stop long enough to notice what our bodies and hearts are needing. May we notice the little things. May we love and be loved. May we embrace the good and nurture ourselves and one another through the not so good.
