22.01.2022 What a wild night! Perth showed up! For Yannicks birthday, we had free entries before 10, one free shot and another free drink! The dance floor was on fire from the first second thanks to DJ Bounce and DJ Bronia, and also enjoyed antics by drag queen, FantaSea. Venue opens from 9pm until late at Baxters Supper Club in Mt. 18.01.2022 I am still trying to gather my thoughts about what happened last night. I am so appreciative of every single person that attended my birthday at the new Fabric ...Fridays. I felt so special and overwhelmed by how many people I loved were in the same room together, from every corner of my life, family, friends, students, dancers, instructors, Spank peeps, K'Lypso fam... and so many new faces that I hope become more familiar in time. I have to repeat my thank you speech because, obviously I didnt talk for long enough last night but first thanks to Justin and Baxter's Supper Club for giving me this awesome opportunity to bring an LGBTIQA+ crowd with our supportive allies to a beautiful, high class venue like that! And Claudi for being so responsive of my every stupid questions at 1.30am, 3am and 5am all week as we were both working around the clock to make this happen. Secondly, I need to thank the amazing team at Beyond A Hug Free Mum Hugs - Perth Dafaq Entertainment for their encouragement when I really just thought this was too much for me. I also need to thank the LGBT community groups in Perth who have supported me by getting the word out there for everyone to know this was on, in just a WEEK! Perth Gay Social Club Perth Pythons Hockey Club Bears Perth Inc. Minx for Women Dikes On Bikes WA Pride WA and our local community groups The Beaufort Street Network and Inglewood on Beaufort.
