12.01.2022 Dear Customers. Firstly We are still OPEN!! Due to recent announcements by GvT regarding social distancing etc, please understand we are trying to come up with new ways of delivering our best and bear with us as this situation is very new. We believe our current setup indoors is not sufficient for dining in given current distancing guidelines, which will push most of our trade to takeaway. We will open at 8am Sat 21st, after a team meeting to hash out plans. ... We are still able to trade thanks to the amazing support in Stanmore and surrounding suburbs, thank you for your ongoing support. We've been in contact with some other Stanmore cafes and will continue to be in contact in order to best understand what customers needs are at this very trying time. A phone number will be available on this site and Google, at this point we are trying to work the logistics of texted orders and/or Facebook message orders to try to streamline the process. Hygiene: As all hospitality operators adhere to strict guidelines set out by NSW health and safety, we do and always have adhered to these. We will however be ramping up our efforts. We are washing our hands like crazy, which is sometimes slowing the pace of pumping coffees out as quickly as usual. We will still not be accepting keep cups and containers to limit contact of customers and staff. Coffee, the trade of green beans has not as yet been affected. No sign that it will. Meat currently is increasing in price but we are working with suppliers to make sure we have a steady supply. However this may become an issue, we aren't certain yet. Produce, currently no impact but predictions of increases in prices will occur. This may impact our menu. This post is mainly to inform all our customers that we are still in operation and things may be different when you come in next time. We love the community and our staff, please continue to support local businesses in Stanmore, there are so many options. We are all feeling this, and we understand customers are too. We understand that people are doing it very tough please take care of each other, please wash your hands, please be mindful of those struggling at this time. Love from Spark team. Xo
