16.01.2022 I hope that everyone had a lovely Australia Day. Wasn't it great to get the cooler weather? I painted a lot of koalas this year, so much love for these beautiful Aussie icons that have suffered so much in the bushfires. It is wonderful to see such an outpouring of love and community spirit towards those affected both people and animals. Thank you to all those that are contributing in their own way to help our beautiful country to restore. May it be a Happy Australia Year!

15.01.2022 Spark Face and Body Art will be at the Australia Day Bush Fair again with a team of artists for free Australian designs from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Get in early as we will have to close the line before this time to finish painting everyone already waiting.

10.01.2022 Yeah! From this Friday the 28th August, private residential gatherings will go back up to 50.

10.01.2022 Great news! Spark Face and Body Art is open for business again in line with government regulations. We have created a general Covid-safe plan for homes and but will need to apply separately for all business bookings. While operating we will need to be in a separate 2-4 metre square area with just the artist and the person that is being painted or twisted for. In between people we will be disinfecting the chair and other places that could be touched. As well as one sponge pe...r person, for now, we will just use one brush per person and sanitize any paints used (which already have antibacterial properties). I have also completed Infection Control Training for Covid -19. We hope that this will give you peace of mind and confidence to enjoy our services with safety and look forward to adding a Spark of creativity and colour to your next event. See more

10.01.2022 So lovely to be back at work on the weekend adding colourful twisted balloons, sparkly painted faces and lots of fun. Everyone was great at listening to instructions about the extra safeguards we had put in place to be a Covid safe workplace. I went armed with sanitizer for everyone as well as a spray for the chair a separate spray for the cosmetics and spare brushes. A lot of work but worth it to see so many beautiful smiles.

09.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone, we have almost made it. Thank you for all of the amazing people that I have been able to paint and twist for recently. Spark face and body art will be twisting every day until Christmas for the line ups for Santa at Westfield Westlakes between 10am - 1pm and face painting there next Monday between 4pm and 8pm. And please came and see me at Santa's Wonderland working for the lovely Vanessa from Voodoo Body art.

02.01.2022 I haven't been to Burra since my childhood but last Saturday I got to turn the amazing Sarah Stiltskin Cheesmur into a mushroom and watch Katrina Cardinale do her beautiful rose artistry on Remy Catchlove at the Burra Regional Art Gallery. Such a lovely gallery and well worth a visit. It was great fun to share this creative journey and receive the Innovation award. Thankyou Kerry Youde for these fabulous photos.
