12.01.2022 This week our shed plant gave us a smile. It’s been a rough year, but during this quiet time we’ve been learning new skills, readjusting learning models and paring back stuff that was not working for us. This weekend we’re opening up to the public (Covid safe!) with some live Blues! 4-6pm, see you at Sparkhaus. 09.01.2022 Happening this weekend!

09.01.2022 This Friday through to Sunday; click for details Uploading is a weekend long exhibition, featuring artist talks/presentations and live events featuring the artist-generated futures-in-progress dreamt up by the Community Transmissions 2020 residents. Amidst a pandemic, lockdowns, an increasingly decimated landscape for federal arts funding and a climate of uncertainty, Uploadings twelve live artists have asked what other worlds might be possible. These brave new works ask... how we can move from states of emergency to states of emergence, and how art might flourish in a new, viral reality. Drawing together; multidisciplinary installation, choreography, dance, sound art, performance art and long durational works, this weekend-long online exhibition and live program presents glimmers of new worlds, new futures emerging. Here in their on-going projects, the artists present their reconfigurations of black freedom, desire and (im)possibility, live streaming, artist-led institutions and the intersections between avatars, artworks, live bodies and virtual spaces. They ask what engaging and dismantling future power structures might look like, explore the implications of an automated future of food production, and how intergenerational art might unfold over hundreds of years. Join us online for this free event, launching Friday 25th of September at 8pm and continuing through to Sunday afternoon, with LIVE PRESENTATIONS SAT 26 at 8 PM! Registration is free through eventbrite through the link above, you must register to receive the online location of the exhibition!
