23.01.2022 !ATTENTION, FIRE HAZARD ! Does your home switchboard look like the picture below with old fuses and no safety switches on all your circuits? Old switchboards are one of the leading causes of house fires due to loose worn out connections which eventually get hot and melt. ... Secondly if you don’t have new safety switches on all your power and lighting circuits there is no protection from electric shock for you and your family. Switchboard upgrades generally cost between $1000-$1600 depending on the size on the size and number of circuits but you can private message me (link on my page) with a photo of your Switchboard for a free online quote. 22.01.2022 ATTENTION! Electric Shock Hazard Does your switchboard look like the top photo with old fuses and circuit breakers? Not only does it pose a fire risk with fuses melting and loose joins, Safety switches protect your family from any dangerous wiring within your house. Safety switches work by picking up any faults within the circuit and tripping the power within 0.3 seconds of a fault occurring. If your child sticks a fork in a PowerPoint or you have a light full of wat...er or if your pet chews through a cable you have no protection from electric shock without a safety switch. They literally save lives. Standard Switchboard upgrades are roughly between $1000-$1500 depending on the size and number of circuits.
