The retail work involves water testing, balancing, chemical and equipment sales, usually on a weekend. Penalty rates of time and 1/4 for Saturday, and double time apply for Sunday. You must have a current clean drivers licence and able to drive a manual vehicle. You must be able to work autonomously and as part of our team. 07.01.2022 Would you like to join our ever expanding team? Sparkle Pools & Spas is looking for a motivated new team member to start immediately. You need to be reasonably fit as part of your job will involve lifting 20kg. Your position will include working in our retail shop as well as field work.... The core days for this position will be during the week. Weekend work may be available during summer in our peak season. The position we are offering is permanent part-time. 3 days a week to begin, leading up to 5 days during peak season. We do require you to be flexible with your days. If weekend work is required penalty rates of time and will apply on Saturdays and double time for Sundays. The retail work will include but not limited to water testing and balancing, chemical and equipment sales and general shop duties. Computer literacy is a must. Field work will include but not limited to pool cleaning and on site water testing and balancing. Vehicle and equipment are supplied for field work. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work independently as well as work within in team environment. You must be able to drive a manual and have a current licence (p platers are welcome). Good time management and communication skills are also required. A willingness to learn and to apply the knowledge gained. Attention to detail and problem solving capabilities are also sort after attributes.
