25.01.2022 Happy Monday! Children can learn new skills, have fun, play and develop self-confidence by spending time in the garden growing their own food. Our kids were curious to learn about where fresh food comes from, and tasted the carrot from our garden and told us which one tastes better!

08.01.2022 To make use of all our milk bottles the children have decided to make an igloo, this is a project our kinder room have been working on for a while but lately the other rooms have been getting involved aswell. Today the children got the opportunity to use the hot glue gun to stick the bottles together and build up the igloo.

08.01.2022 Today we continued working on our veggie garden project. We added water to the soil and watched it expand, then transported it across the yard in wheelbarrows and tipped it into the garden. The children all demonstrated amazing teamwork and shared the responsibilities

The team had to trust each other and work together to compete the challenges. This helped to open the lines of communication and built stronger more trusting relationships.

06.01.2022 Today we continued our veggie garden project by planting carrot and tomato seeds. We decided to start them in pots so we can keep a close eye on them. When they have grown we will transfer them into the garden.

02.01.2022 Earlier this week we had some expired milk in the fridge, rather that throw it out our Senior Nursery children conducted an experiement which you can easily try at home. All you need to do is pour some milk into a bowl (make sure you use full cream milk) add a few drops of food colouring and then dip a cotton bud into dishwashing liquid and then into the milk to see an explosion of colours. This works because the soap molecules find and bond with the fat molecules of the milk. With millions of molecules swirling around looking for mates, the colours in the milk get all mixed up. Have fun!
