25.01.2022 Educator Sarah set up the ball trough for indoor play due to wet weather outside. The toddlers were enjoying the play by throwing the balls into the air and throwing to educator Sarah. Outcome 3.2, children take increasing responsibilty for their own health and physical well-being.

24.01.2022 Watching the rain and postman at the same time. Outcome 5.1, children interact verbally and non-verbally with others for a range of purposes.

24.01.2022 Kindy Tyler and Matthew were the helpers for today's lunch set up. They did a fantastic job! Outcome 4.3, children transfer and adapt what they have learned from one context to another.

20.01.2022 Today we remember them... Today our service held a remembrance service where the children did a minute silence. Our ECT Lisa showed the children medals and explained to the children the importance of the day.

19.01.2022 Today our wonderful Educators Sarah and Monika got us into a wonderful Thursday feeling of happiness! Sarah shared a beautiful story that our friend Matilda brought in discussing our feelings and then we had a big dance party with Monika. Being happy is great!

Monika has gone above and beyond with her Reggio inspired environment planning and insight with true child lead experiences. 14.01.2022 Reading is a fantastic way to develop sound literacy skills. Educator Imogen spent the morning reading with our young Kindy friend and looking at the letters and words on the page. The enjoyment you get from reading a book is wonderful

13.01.2022 One of our favourite times of the week... Yoga! Our Toddlers and Kindy children all love participating in yoga every day. We are lucky to have an instructor join us once a week!

09.01.2022 Who says counting isn't fun? Today our Kindy friend Anya sat and decided she would show off her counting skills. Instead of using the conventional counting counters found in schools and other Educational services we decided to put natural resources out. Anya was fascinated with the shells and placed them out in front of her and started counting orally up to the number 10. Not only is it a fun way to count but it's also a great way to use natural resources.

08.01.2022 Educator of the Month: Lisa Here at Sparrow Thornlie would like to Congratulate our ECT Lisa on being October's Educator of the Month. Lisa has demonstrated leadership skills in the recent months. She is always willing to support fellow Educators when needed and has taken responsibility in setting up new families and enquires. Lisa has shown great initiative with StoryPark as well! ... Well done Lisa!

07.01.2022 Who said you need to use paper to do a drawing? Today in our Kindy room our friend Tyler did a drawing on the table mirrors with the dry erase pens. We have to say I think Tyler was having way too much fun watching himself as he was drawing!

07.01.2022 Our Toddlers with Educators Sarah and Lauren went for a picnic to the park yesterday! They enjoyed exploring our community and visiting the local playground.
