22.01.2022 This AU Series 3 XR6 had faded, dull, oxidised paint mainly on the roof, bonnet and boot. 2 stage paint correction later and its back to its former beauty. The customer also gets a bottle of touch up paint to keep which is mixed to match the paint work.... Awesome Aussie performance 6 cylinder and definitely enjoyed working on it having previously owned a series 1 in a darker blue colour :)

The customer mentioned panel work possibly being done - all panels were measured for paint thickness with an electronic gauge to check for depth consistency - one door was 2mil thinner than the others. 12.01.2022 Please dont wash your cars in dish washing liquid as it strips any protective coating on the paint work and leaves the surface vulnerable to damage from the sun and surface contaminants! (Unless of course youre following up with a hand coat of wax or other sealant) We use CT20 wash & wax on our minor details, its PH neutral, non toxic to the waterways and fully biodegradable. It leaves a nice coat of wax behind and a glossy shine.

Hand: Meguiars Ultimate Compound/ Mothers California Gold Pure Polish/ Meguiars Deep Crystal Liquid Carnauba Wax/ Mothers California Gold Pure Brazilian Carnauba Liquid Wax... Clay-bar lube: Turtle wax express shine carnauba wax spray watered down Machine: Stage 1: 3M Perfect-it EX rubbing compound or 3M perfect-it rubbing compound Stage 2: Meguiars Mirror Glaze (M6601) Single stage paint correction/One step machine rejuvenation is just the M6601. Buffing pads are selected on the degree of correction required and also based on how hard your paint job is, can generally get a good feel during the clay-bar decontamination. There are also a lot of white toyotas getting around with single stage paints, these do not have a clear coat and require a different method. Jet skis and boats are gel coated, these are also completely different.

08.01.2022 Long day out @ Murrumba Downs Major package + One step machine rejuvenation on this Landcruiser and a 2 stage paint correction on a few panels that were wet sanded by the customer on a black VW + single stage on the rest - unfortunately it was dark so the photos didnt turn out.

We do a kick ass cut and polish/ paint correction as well with 3M and meguiars products that you cant get off the shelves and a top end flex buffer. If you find a better price book them in, we charge a fraction of the big franchised businesses that claim they are the bees knees and do just as good of a job if not better.

04.01.2022 The amount of contamination that came off this thing surprised the hell out of me! The clay bar went brown straight away after one tiny patch, the paint was deceptively smooth for the amount of fine bonded contamination removed on the paint - Its always best not to buff that stuff into the paint work! Both sides (unfortunately) were covered in spots and specs of black road tar front to back... definitely spent some time on prep work on this one.... Looking good now! Fresh engine bay Decontaminated paint + single stage correction Leather nourished and conditioned Carpets shampooed and deoderised Plastics rejuvenated Engine bay cleaned/ degreased/ shined Arches/ around the outside of doors etc.. :D Shouldnt have a problem selling this beauty (If the owner doesnt change his mind)
