19.01.2022 Day 2 - State SC Championships Both boys swam solid races today. Hunter’s 100 Breast on PB pace. So can only improve from here on in.... Both boys on PB pace with the 100 Free today, Talon dropped his PB down by a fraction, well done. Great experience swimming this weekend with so much talent in the water, including a few Olympians. Stay tuned for Day 3.....

17.01.2022 A great day for our first meet of 2021. Hunter, Tory and Cameron swam all their events today with positivity and commitment. As always some tough competition and as always we pushed through. Cameron did a great job for being out of the water since training last year, super proud that he came along today and gave it a good go. Keep it up Cameron Tory had some super fast competition in the fly, but swam a solid race just under PB pace, keep on flying Tory, you’ll catch them.... Hunter swam backstroke for the first time in a long time, got an awesome PB for his efforts. He just got over PB for his breast stroke but a solid swim saw him take 2nd today. Sub 40 secs on the horizon. Well done SPC, for a small Club we certainly put in a huge effort. Well done team.

15.01.2022 Day 3 - State SC Championships Hunter had a strong 50 Breast today. Went out fast and came away with a PB. Both Talon and Hunter should be super proud of their efforts over the past three days.... Great job SPC boys

13.01.2022 Hey Guys, As many of you are now aware I will spend the next 3 weeks finishing my time as St Peter's Caboolture, Head Coach. It's been an amazing few years having the opportunity to grow a program, start an amazing new swimming club and work with incredible swimmers. These experiences, I will take with me forever. ... I want to thank everyone for their amazing support, honesty and friendship. Although I'm moving on to other opportunities, Ill be keeping a close eye on the continued growth and success of every swimmer. Their happiness and success is the most important thing to me. Ill catch up with everyone over the next few weeks with a final high five.. Cheers Brendan

09.01.2022 Swimming Queensland wishes to advise that LC Preparation meet #1 which was set down for 10 and 11 October has been cancelled. The factors taken into account in... reaching this decision are: - Normally the Qld Short Course Championships are run in early August. Due to COVID, they were rescheduled to late September. - SQ LC Preparation #1 was scheduled to be 8 weeks after the Qld SC Championships normal date to assist coaches and athletes with their preparation for the December Qld Championships. - The meet was left in the calendar until now in case there were further COVID lockdowns imposed preventing the SC Championships taking place. Clubs and Regions will continue to conduct meets throughout October and November to prepare for the LC season.

05.01.2022 Come along on Friday for our final Club Night of the year. Warm up starts at 3:30pm, racing and fun from 4pm. Nominations open, book in at reception. More details to follow......

04.01.2022 Well, what a day! Team SPC another amazing effort in the water. An early start with Hunter & Tory up for the 50 free. Hunter secured a PB in the free and Tory just over PB pace, so both boys swam well!... Hunter up next with his 50 backstroke, a solid swim with another PB for his efforts. We had a long break between races so we all headed outside for a lunch break and some fresh air. After lunch was the 50 breast. Hunter in heat one smashed his PB by just on 1sec and secured his place in the breaststroke finals. Finished 5th in Qld in the Prelims. Tory also smashed his PB by a whopping 1.23 seconds! Nice job Tory Tiarna lined up for her 50 free, swam a great race exactly on her PB pace, nice job T Tory’s 50 fly up next, a good swim once again up against some tough competition with super fast times. Hunters 50 breaststroke final finally started after a long wait. Hunter swam probably one of the best races he has swum but unfortunately he moved ever so slightly on the blocks and was DQ. He took it in his stride knowing that he swam his heart out. He still claimed his top 10 in Qld finalist ribbon and is super proud of what he has achieved. Thanks to Jade for coaching the team over the weekend. Your support and encouragement is on point. Thank you A memorable learning experience for all our swimmers this weekend, things to improve on in training to make them even better next time. Team SPC you never disappoint, you all put in and look at the rewards you reap. Go SPC

03.01.2022 Well done to our team today. Some great swims, some great PB’s and some bling! It was good to compete at a Wide Bay meet, with different competition than or normal Brisbane meets and it was tough.... Keep up the good work, train hard and the results will follow
