19.01.2022 https://inceptiontrain.wpengine.com/summit-tickets/?ref=1 Included in the ticket for our event is 2 months access to an online learning website to help you implement all the advice you get at the event from the dozen speakers at our event. Ways small business owners and contract worker can still make money during the crisis. ... I bet there are a lot of restaurants out there that wish they set up on Uber eats before noon today. Just the fact we are still allowed to run the event should be enough to tell you that you still have options. Fact is, many solopreneurs have been work in isolation, so now is there time to shine, come out, get together, and come up with what to do next. Why? Because now because of COVID-19, everyone wants to learn how to work like they have been doing it for years. Small business has a competitive advantage over bigger businesses at the moment, because it can adapt. But what good is talking to the few customers you have left if you don't know what to say. We could do our Summit online, but how are you going to hear our speakers above all the noise. We want to get people who want to take advantage of what they can still do in the one room, and come up with solutions. Not talk about what you can't do. If that sounds like who you want to be, see you at the Summit. But of course, we only have 50 tickets left. What else can people spend their money on, so you'd better buy today or you'll miss out on this opportunity too. https://inceptiontrain.wpengine.com/summit-tickets/?ref=1

13.01.2022 Did you know Australia is the 3rd largest provider of Education to international students (6.9%) in the world? Behind only the US (20%) and the UK (10%). It's worth (in total) $40 billion in GDP for Australia. But if online training is better than face-to-face, why does the Australia Government allow international students to complete only 1/3 of their course online as a condition of their visa? ... That's why the Australian Government and one of Australia's biggest "group of 8" Universities is allowing us to still run our live event. QUT says they are "the Uni for the real world", and in the real world, life will go on. Of course we have had to change what we planned to do. Things never go to plan in business, but our back-up plans are turning out to be even better value than the original! For example, we had 5 out of 10 speakers pulled out because of COVID-19, but look who we've replaced them with... not just to survive, we couldn't fit them in before, but starting to feel like Stephen Bradbury with our event. They are now able to speak at our because all the other events have fallen over themselves. The other replacements speakers should be announced today, but you only have a week to get your tickets to our event still on April 4th, 2020. For 80 lucky people, Sonia McDonald and Sharon Jurd and others will show you at our Summit that life can go on for you too. We will announce the other replacement speakers soon, but do you want to miss out on this event. time to take action. Aren't you even curious to know how we are still going ahead with all the restrictions? Find out more here: https://inceptiontrain.wpengine.com/summit-tickets/?ref=1 Stay safe, and this Summit is not for everyone. But if you are a casual or contract worker, you won't want to miss this event. We applaud the Government's rescue package, but how long can you live on the dole queue? You still have a choice.

13.01.2022 These guys have a great Summit planned for Brisbane in May, that we hope they still run, as it will focus on using the marketing you'll learn at our Summit for sales processes. In this video, they explain working from home, but even they had to sell the idea to their team and train them, so you might find it interesting how he did it and he has so tips for what you can do. Not a short video as you may expect, but lots of content for you to skip through.

04.01.2022 While both the Venue and The Government said this event could still go ahead, even with all the new government restriction in the same way that Restaurants and schools/Universities are allowed to trade, many of the speakers at this event have decided to self-isolate so would not be able to attend the live event. Refunds have been issued, and we apologize to the casual and contract workers who wanted to talk to the speakers and together develop options for how they can survive... the current crisis. You can Google the speakers and contact them directly, and they have assured me that their online options are just as good as what you would have received at the live event. However, as this Summit was part of a free formal training program that requires participants to attend and manage a real-life event, the event could not be conducted online. We thank QUT for their effort to provide a safe venue for the event, including offers to use of a theatre that seats over 500 people for social distancing even though we had limited tickets to 80 people for the event. We hope that when people run out of toilet paper they will come out of self-isolation they will attend events at this wonderful educational institution that has its foundations in providing courses for the real world. We are not able to postpone the event, because who knows when that would happen. After the personal abuse directed at the organizers from people online, why would anyone want to do training there? Life will go on. Stay safe, but most of all (and not just for speakers), your words matter.

01.01.2022 We want people that have been self-isolated from last week to come along to our event on April 4th to make it as safe as possible, and as a reward for taking action early. We have always wanted action takers in the room. (update: 24/3 - We have been upgraded to a room that usually holds over 400 people, so room for social distancing and then some). So reserve your spot this week and we will refund and resell your ticket next week if you do get sick. ... We don't want people buying a ticket and not turning up either now spaces are so limited. There are so few events plan like this for the next 6 months, we want to show what you can still do. There are plenty of contractors and casual employees out there that want to know what they can do with the extra $550 per person a fortnight the government is giving to Centrelink. Here is what the venue is doing to make it safer for you as one of the few places allowed to hold gatherings. https://www.qut.edu.au/additional/coronavirus This event was created to put a dozen business experts in a room with small business owners to come up with things business owners can do right now to grow, but now it is about survival. Now, more than ever, if it meets the government rules, this show must go on. We thank all the speakers who are still able to come to the event. And also lucky that they are all local, otherwise we'd have to cancel too.
