13.01.2022 Hi beauties, I’ve been a bit quiet on here, this is because I have recently started a job as a dermal therapist at an injectables and skin clinic in Maroochydore. Most of you know I have been studying dermal science and by taking this amazing position I will be able to put into practise all I have learnt so far Unfortunately this does mean my days at the salon will be reduced to Thursdays and every second Saturday. I am hoping to still be able to fit you all in but I strongly advise booking a few weeks in advance and rebooking your next appointment so that you don’t miss out. Often I see clients doing everything right for their skin externally but if the internal needs adjusting then we’re fighting an uphill battle. Your diet and gut health plays a HUGE role in your skin health. EFAs can be real skin care powerhouses.... They work to soothe and nourish the body, improve brain function, increase water levels in the skin and improve its structural integrity and barrier function by sealing in moisture and keeping irritants out. EFA’s are especially great for those who suffer from acne, inflamed or reactive skin, pigmentation and hormonal imbalances as well as fine lines & ageing. Taking fish oil capsules alone often isn’t enough, instead, consuming a high strength omega liquid such Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega or Melrose High strength Fish Oil is more ideal. Most health food stores stock these two products.
