21.01.2022 Day 1 has been done and dusted and how incredibly close it is. New Zealand is winning by around 1% with a total score of 51 species total 5745 Australia 2nd wi...th 52 species and a total score of 5694 Tahiti 3rd with 43 species and a total score of 4773 followed closely in 4th place New Caledonia 43 species a total score of 4724.5 Well done to the men’s teams. Ladies results something to smile a bit more about if your an Aussie. Australia 1st with 20 species and a score of 2223 New Zealand in 2nd place with 19 species and a score of 2105.5 New Caledonia 3rd with 17 species and total score of 1871.5 Well done ladies. We must say how well the Tahitians and New Caledonians have done given our cold water and the difficulties with weather which prevented them having a decent look at the zones to be dived. Had they had a couple more days to look over the areas and learn our species we’d probably all be within 5% of each other. Tomorrow concludes the event so we will just have to wait and see. See more

07.01.2022 The Tweed Gold Coast Freedivers and the Facebook Group Rubbish Spearos would like to invite anyone who is interested in helping to clean up the Tweed River to come along this Sunday 31st of March. We will meet at Kennedy Drive boat Ramp from 7.00am NSW time and will conclude at about 11.00am. Bring your snorkeling gear and a bag to put your rubbish in, make sure you bring gloves too.... This is a great opportunity to improve your diving techniques and learn from some very experienced divers. You will get to meet club members and find out about what we do and what we have planned for the year. If you don’t want to get wet, that’s ok, we could still use your help in a boat or on the river bank
