24.01.2022 ATTENTION COVID-19 With immediate effect, the following changes will take place in response to the threat of COVID-19.... Facility - We will still be operating but our workshop doors will be locked with access only available to staff. We're implementing new procedures to keep our facility clean with staff wearing all the necessary items such as masks and gloves to avoid potential spread. Drop Off & Pick Up - With the facility closed to the public we ask that vehicles are dropped off and collected outside. You will be greeted by a member of staff outside. Please be mindful of safe distancing. Payment - Payment can still be made by eftpos (outside) but can also be made by direct transfer. We'll continue to monitor the situation and will operate whilst safe to do so.

18.01.2022 This vehicle was handed to us a day after dealership collection. There was a fair amount of correction work involved to get it up to spec before applying #GyeonQuartz Duraflex coating. A total of 7 hours was spent in preparing & correcting the vehicle. The worst affected areas were the black painted trim, showing defects from incorrect machine polishing and chemical etchings from improper product use. Once the vehicle was corrected it was coated and infrared cured.

17.01.2022 Keith brought his Tesla 3 in to benefit from a @gyeonquartz coating. The usual preparation and polishing process was carried out but wasn't as extensive as it usually is. The paint was in great condition with minimal imperfections to remove. I'm very much an internal combustion kind of guy, as most detailers are, but spending time with the Model 3 has changed my perspective towards electric vehicles. The Model 3 has a very clean, minimalistic design that still has the abili...ty to represent itself as the future in a tasteful manner. The design flows inside where it creates a relaxing & enjoyable environment for everyone. What also impressed me is that Tesla are always working hard on ways to improve the vehicle through downloads into the vehicles computer. The future is positive. (apart from the Cybertruck)

17.01.2022 It's not uncommon for a major paint correction & coating to require 50 hours of labour. This particular example had its challenges, 30 yr old paint with little to no clear coat in various areas ranging in size, some as small as 50c coins. Every square inch had to be checked and rechecked with a paint thickness gauge during the correction. Oxidation was deep so the low points had to be blended into the surrounding clear. For preservation, the vehicle was applied with a long lasting, durable coating from @gtechniqaustralia.

15.01.2022 The Toyota Supra, one of many modern classics from the land of the rising sun. After this Supra was resprayed Mark brought it in to have the paint work polished and protected with @gyeonquartz Duraflex coating.

15.01.2022 Lotus Exige -When you combine Intelligent British Engineering & Timeless Design Adam brought in his Lotus for paint decontamination & machine polishing to restore the finish. After discussion we agreed to upgrade the paint protection from a wax to a #gyeonquartz one coating for its ability to protect against UV-B, the radiation that causes colour to dull, most notably oranges and reds.
