Summer feels like it has arrived and it is time to get active and enjoy the outdoors, but make sure that you are sensible with your sun protection and by looking after your muscles and joints. 01.01.2022 SSCWA is currently seeking a highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our experienced multidisciplinary team. SSCWA is a forward thinking and progressive Specialist Sports Medicine practice, that prides itself on delivering quality care, using up to date evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation strategies. The practice boasts a large individual treatment room and full reception support. Patients are offered 30-minute (minimum) appointment tim...es, Physio exercises classes, as well as individual rehabilitation. The role will suit a physio with at least 2 years private practice experience. They must be professional, confident, driven with excellent communication skills and display a genuine caring nature. The candidate should also have excellent manual therapy skills and a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and exercise prescription. The case load will be a mixture of hands-on treatment and exercise rehabilitation, including small group Physio exercise classes as well as referred W/C and MVA cases. The ability to conduct supervised gym programmes would also be considered an asset. The position offered is as a part-time self-contractor, but hours can be negotiated for the right candidate. The remuneration package will be subject to the level of clinical experience of the candidate and their existing individual case load.
