21.01.2022 Chilled water rooftop plant on a project that we recently completed at Wentworth Point Library. Spectrum Plumbing carried out all mechanical pipework on the entire Wentworth Point Library project which consisted of 51 chilled and heating ducted fan coil units serving 2 floors, 2 air cooled chillers and buffer tank to rooftop, condensing boiler with hydraulic separator, primary and secondary heating water pumps along with all chemical dosing and make up water to both chilled a...nd heating water systems. This is a process of flushing pipework that can be applied to either new, modified or existing pipework. Dynamic flushing can lead to longer service life on plant and equipment, more efficient systems with lower running costs, less frequent servicing, less chance of breakdowns, all resulting in long term savings.... The process consist of chemically treated water circulated and filtered to break down and remove any debris or contaminants that may be in the pipework. In tenancy fitout it is generally done with witness testing by an engaged consultant, who then grants permission to open the fitout system into base building systems once signed off. Spectrum Plumbing can provide this service for both base building system cleansing or tenancy fitout flushing.
