22.01.2022 I would like to recommend Spectrum Tuition Broadmeadows to all parents who have children in primary or secondary school. Spectrum offers excellent service and n...ow they have live zoom classes starting from this Monday 27th April. My son has been attending Spectrum for some time (and now via zoom) and I think it helped him increase his core numeracy and literacy skills. So now, during this period of isolation and when most of the school work is minimal (or very light on substance), parents need all extra help they can get. Well done to Spectrum team for delivering this great service locally in Broadmeadows. 11.01.2022 Friday night, doing some maths problems with my son who is in grade 6. Did you know that mathematics is actually more about learning abstract thinking than addi...ng numbers. These skills are particularly important for jobs of the future in areas of STEM - like engineering which requires a higher order of thinking and problem-solving. Surprisingly learning is good fun for my son and me. Kids actually like to do things they are good at - and that can be a great confidence booster for them. Kids don't always want to do it but we as parents know the value of good discipline and focus - particularly when it comes to education and character development. (nothing good comes easy) If you are in Melbourne it looks like we might be entering another round of restrictions and that is very unfortunate. But, this gives us the opportunity to spend more time with our kids. When it comes to education I personly like structured learning which is why I use Spectrum Tuition Broadmeadows for my son. They have tried and tested programs in numeracy and literacy and they deliver these online classes live via zoom.
