19.04.2022 The Speedsport team attended the Sunstate Nudgee Dirt Kart track for the Des Carsburg & John Churchill memorial cup. We paid respect to those fallen mates too Luke Spaulding and Donna Dorman. - Armani #14 won the Junior 100c Kt100J class. - Armani #14 finished 2nd in the 100cc KT100S class in her Arrow Karts powered by Cosser Race Engines. ... - Then Armani Won the John Churchill Memorial Drivers Driver award. Hope Armani did you proud Boys. - Mick #14 qualified top points scorer after 3 rounds of heats, then Mick drew a number 3 marble to start the feature and finished 2nd in the KT100S Heavy class. - Nat #99 qualified 2nd highest points scorer and pulled a number 4 marble to start the dash and moved up the 2nd to start the feature. After 12 laps Nat took the cheques flag for the Win. A great team effort by all to be on the podium for an awesome event put on by the sunstate kart club and members. 10.04.2022 Home now from the QLD Dirt Kart Title at Maryborough Speedsport. Another huge weekend with the Speedsport Racing team running 5 karts over four classes. Race Results for the Finals are ... Junior Kt100J - Armani 3rd. Junior Standard Kt100S - Armani 5th. Standard Heavy Kt100S - Mick 4th. Standard Heavy Kt100S- Nat 8th. Modified 100cc - Mick 4th. Well done to Armani for getting on the podium and great racing all weekend. Thanks to Jason from Westcorp Enterprises for sponsoring Armani tyres while coming and turning spanners and to Mr Webb for help changing motor with the short turnaround before the finals and to Mackayla Harders and Dion for helping to make sure all kart got to the dummy grid on time, a huge effort by everyone. Just like the Australian titles all karts made the finals and finished, during the event we made heaps changes to the karts bring on the Winter series and the twin twenty lap feature race. 10.03.2022 Great day at Maryborough speedway with the Dirt Karts for the Speedsport shop with - Mick in the New 125cc PRD Galaxy Arrow kart, with a 2nd place finish in the feature race. - Armani finished 2nd in junior standard class with her new Arrow AX8 chassis with the KT100S 100cc kart. We also had three customers karts that ran with - Matt Black in the PRD Nexgen Fireball 125cc kart with a 3rd place finish in the feature. ... - Nat Wright in her Sign Wright #99 Arrow KT100S with 2nd place finish. - Max Black winning 2 of his heat races, to start on pole only to have a plug fail in the feature race.
