21.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING RACING AT MADE TOO GO PTY LTD SPEEDWAYS official release: Made Too Go Pty Ltd. 1247pm: March 15, 2020 The World Health Organisation has ...declared the COVID 19 as a pandemic with the Australian Government requesting the community to exercise social distancing to mitigate its spread. Sydney Speedway Pty Ltd and Made Too Go Pty Ltd tracks operating in Sydney, Murray Bridge and Toowoomba is following advice from the Australian Government in managing the COVID 19 (coronavirus) pandemic in an attempt to control its spread in the community. Please refer to statement released by the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee on 13th March 2020. https://www.health.gov.au//australian-health-protection-pr The well-being of our competitors, volunteers, staff and contractors is our highest priority to ensure the wellbeing and health and safety of the wider Speedway community. As a result from tomorrow Monday 16th March 2020 we will no longer be able to conduct events that have 500 or more people in attendance and have had to postpone all national and international events that we had planned on our calendar for our 2019/2020 race season effective immediately. This postponement will stay in place until such times as the Australian Government determines it is safe to conduct such major events and we can return to our normal operations. We understand that this is can be an anxious time for everyone in our Community as none of us have ever seen most world sporting events postponed not only locally but all around the World at this time. We would ask our Speedway community to look out for each other, particular each other’s social well-being at this time and hope to see you all at our next event after this health emergency is controlled. However, we have locked in October 31 (Halloween if your keen ) and November 28 at ACT Speedway. 15.01.2022 NEW SPEEDWAY AUSTRALIA APP For those who haven't done this as yet, here's a basic 'how to'. Download the Speedway Australia app from the App Store or Google Pla...y on your phone, iPad or other device. Open the app and click the Licence Card option. The first time you log in, you will be asked to sign in. Your ID is your licence number, enter this then hit 'forgotten password'. An automatic email will be generated and sent to the email address Speedway Australia have on file for you from your licence application. This email will contain a generic password for you to use. Remember, this password is case sensitive, so be careful when entering. Once you are in, the system will take you to an area to change your password. Do this using something you can remember as no one stores your password, so if you forget, you'll have to repeat the steps above to reset your password. You should now be able to access your licence on your phone and will not be required to carry your plastic card to events when you have your device with you. If your licence is current, the screen will be blue. If your licence is expired or suspended, the screen will be red. If your licence is a One Day licence, the screen will be green. At this stage, the licence cards are still being issued, and we will continue to send them out to you when they are received, but this will be phased out once everyone drags themselves into 2020. It is important to keep your email address current on the Speedway Australia system in case you forget your password. It's too late to get your email address changed when you're at the track on a Saturday night to go racing. Also a good idea to have access to your emails on your phone or another device you'll have at the track with you. It's up to the driver to have access to their licence, no one else. **Note: If multiple users are on the same device, each user must remember to log out of the app before the next user can log in.

13.01.2022 VALVOLINE RACEWAY UPDATE This just in from VR Legends. *** We are all living in uncertain times at the moment and trying to manage our recreations in an ever-in...creasing changing environment of Covid-19 rules, restrictions and regulations. All sports and venues are bound by any number of varying restrictions as to how they can operate their activities depending on criteria under the COVID Industry Safety Plan. Valvoline Raceway is no different to any other venue and is governed by the Community Sport Public Health Order updated on the 28th July found on the NSW Government Office of Sport's Coronavirus update site. Whilst Barry and Felicity are committed to have racing commence this season, given the emotion around it being the last season of the venue's operation, the current restrictions under the order make it financially unviable to operate. Border closures, regional restrictions, participant number restrictions, medical personnel, all play a part of allowing competitors, spectators, volunteers and staff to be part of a race meeting. Whilst restrictions are being constantly reviewed so will the season for Valvoline Raceway. Given the current restrictions it is expected at this stage racing would not commence until restrictions are greatly reduced which is estimated would not be until Jan 2021. Therefore, the season will be postponed at this stage until then with a review in November as previously mentioned. Should restrictions be relaxed prior to this date an immediate review will take place with plenty of notice given to everyone prior to going racing this will also allow the sourcing of necessary personnel i.e. medical. How the season will look once started will be part of the review and all clubs will be involved in the process and once finalised a new calendar will be released for public knowledge. To get the venue up and running takes time, and a number of external suppliers and operators along with race teams, volunteers, race divisions and staff, all need sufficient notice to be ready. It is expected that once a start is imminent then a couple of practice days prior would be scheduled and then the racing would commence. Whilst management know it is frustrating for all involved please understand that it is the intention of all involved with Valvoline Raceway to have the season get started and continue until the final ever meeting at the venue. Once we get racing things may look completely different to what we are used to, however once it can be done safely and viably the season will get under way. In the meantime, please stay safe and watch for the November update when hopefully a clearer view on when we can get back to what we all love will be closer. ***

06.01.2022 VALVOLINE RACEWAY SEASON START UPDATE Update from Valvoline Raceway re season commencement. Release: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic restrictions and borde...r lockouts, it is with regret that the Management of Valvoline Raceway announce that the scheduled start to the 2020/21 season on October 3rd will be postponed until further notice. The management team will continue to monitor the restrictions and guidelines set by the NSW government but is not expected to give a further update until November. 04.01.2022 LEGEND IN YOUR OWN LIVING ROOM Speedway Australia eSports and Speedway Legend Cars Australia are pleased to bring online competitors weekly Legend Car racing fr...om the comfort of their own home, beginning tonight at 9:00pm AEST. Legend Cars Australia owner John Dennehy is enthusiastic about bringing the five-eighth scale American hot rods to Speedway Australia’s digital platform, saying these cars fool people because they look at them and think they are cute, but when they see them go we can be quicker than many of our more expensive counterparts! eSports races are a wonderful opportunity for competitors to sample these cars, with the possibility for them to progress to a real-life car if they’re successful in the virtual world. Dirt-track and asphalt Legend cars are complimentary with an iRacing subscription, meaning there’s no excuse to miss out on the action. Tonight’s event will feature fixed-setup asphalt Legend Cars at iRacings 3/8 mile Lanier National Speedway. As always, all Speedway Australia eSports league members are welcome to join.

03.01.2022 We are sad to announce that our race meeting scheduled for Saturday, 15th of February has been cancelled. To say that we are heartbroken is an understatement,... however, with the threat of rain and thunderstorms predicted in the coming days we feel it’s best to cancel our race meeting due to these current weather conditions, noting competitors were travelling from all over Australia to attend our ACT Titles that were scheduled for the meeting. Our ACT Production Sedan Title has been postponed to our next and final meeting of our 2019/2020 season scheduled for the 4th of April 2020. Production Sedan drivers can carry over their nomination fee to the ACT Production Sedan Title scheduled for the 4th or April 2020 or request a refund of their nomination fee. All Production Sedan drivers are encouraged to contact the club via email at [email protected] to advise their preference. Thank you to all of the drivers who nominated for our race meeting - we appreciate your support. We would like to thank the following companies for sponsoring this meeting: Enzed Canberra Allcott Hire Gasweld Fyshwick Canberra Truck Align
