24.01.2022 LAKE LIDDELL SPEEDBOWL - FUN DAY 07 NOV 2020 Lake Liddell Speedbowl in the Hunter Valley are holding a Fun Day on Saturday 07 Nov 2020, and they have invited Legend Cars to take part.... The venue is 10 minutes south of Muswellbrook and located inside a fully functional campground & recreation area boasting other activities such as hire karts, rock climbing, disc golf and laser tag. If you're interested in camping at the grounds, please contact the Lake Liddell Recreation Area on 02 6541 2010 to make a booking. This cannnot be done through the Speedbowl. The track itself is 1/8 mile (200m) on the pole line with a clay surface and about 12 degrees of banking all round. These days are run under AASA permits, but you can use your current Speedway Australia licences as they are recognised by AASA. The aim is for 5 - 6 sessions minimum at this meeting, so plenty of track time. All events are run with a fully qualified paramedic on site at all times. Cost is $100 per driver and this cost includes the driver and 1 Pit Crew entry to the track and Pit area. As this venue is a privately run business, kids are permitted in the Pit area, but must be supervised by an adult at all times. Gates open at1:00PM with a drivers meeting to be held at 4:00PM, then its go time! Self scrutineering is a requirement and the responsibility is on the driver to ensure their car is fit for purpose at all times during the event. Easy access and parking available for bigger rigs. 18.01.2022 NEW SPEEDWAY AUSTRALIA APP For those who haven't done this as yet, here's a basic 'how to'. Download the Speedway Australia app from the App Store or Google Play on your phone, iPad or other device. Open the app and click the Licence Card option.... The first time you log in, you will be asked to sign in. Your ID is your licence number, enter this then hit 'forgotten password'. An automatic email will be generated and sent to the email address Speedway Australia have on file for you from your licence application. This email will contain a generic password for you to use. Remember, this password is case sensitive, so be careful when entering. Once you are in, the system will take you to an area to change your password. Do this using something you can remember as no one stores your password, so if you forget, you'll have to repeat the steps above to reset your password. You should now be able to access your licence on your phone and will not be required to carry your plastic card to events when you have your device with you. If your licence is current, the screen will be blue. If your licence is expired or suspended, the screen will be red. If your licence is a One Day licence, the screen will be green. At this stage, the licence cards are still being issued, and we will continue to send them out to you when they are received, but this will be phased out once everyone drags themselves into 2020. It is important to keep your email address current on the Speedway Australia system in case you forget your password. It's too late to get your email address changed when you're at the track on a Saturday night to go racing. Also a good idea to have access to your emails on your phone or another device you'll have at the track with you. It's up to the driver to have access to their licence, no one else. **Note: If multiple users are on the same device, each user must remember to log out of the app before the next user can log in.

15.01.2022 RACING UPDATE Unfortunately, due to the associated issues with Covid 19 restrictions, our calendared round at Sapphire Speedway, Bega on October 10, will not be going ahead. However, we have locked in October 31 (Halloween if your keen ) and November 28 at ACT Speedway. The ACT run under very different restrictions than the rest of us, so they are confident these events will go ahead as planned. ... Please no political comments, we know. If your car needs to be registered, you can call Awesome Automotive in Goulburn - 02 4822 2972 or Morgan Motorsports in Glenmore (near Campbelltown) - 0404 065 572 to book an appointment. Please advise them if your engine needs to be sealed and remember to take your Log Book. We will not be running 'Registration Days' in Sydney due to Covid associated issues, so please arrange to get your car to one of the above locations before we start racing. No Registrations will be done at the tracks or on the day of the event.

07.01.2022 ARCHERFIELD SPEEDWAY - 23 & 24 JAN 2020 LEGEND CARS AUSTRALIAN TITLE - Sunday the 24th. As you are all aware, this year's Australian Title is booked to be held at Archerfield Speedway in Queensland. We have 2 days racing up there with the Title to be held on the 24th of Jan. We appreciate that restrictions currently in place impact on many of our drivers, but we are hopeful these restrictions will be lifted before that time, and this event can go ahead as planned. ... LCA will be sending our transporter to Archerfield for this event and we have 6 spots available on the truck. All cars are insured whilst in our care and an agreed value for your car will be documented before travel begins. Cost for a slot is $400 return. Your car will be loaded onto the transporter from a central location, so you may need to bring your car to a specific pick up point yet to be advised. Your car then takes a scenic drive to Archerfield. There it will patiently await your arrival, whether you choose to fly or drive up with friends is totally up to you. Once the event is over, we load the truck and your car travels home at a leisurely pace. Bookings are essential and a non refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your spot. It is important to book your place early to ensure you don't miss out and to assist us from the logistical side. In the event we are unable to run this event due to COVID restrictions, all monies will be refunded, less any bank fees charged.
