21.01.2022 2017/18 SPHGPC Committee Members. Following the well attended AGM, where the previous committee was desolved the Committee has been reappointed with several new appointees to ably assist in the management and direction of the SPHGPC for the coming year. These being - 1. President Dave Bateman (nominated by PW, RDG, DS seconded JDG) - accepted 2. Vice-President Chris Rolfe (nominated by JDG seconded MM) - accepted... 3. Secretary Judi deGroot (nominated by LD seconded DB) - accepted 4. Treasurer Tom Van-Lane (nominated by DB seconded JDG) - accepted To Share the load on what are obviously voluntary positions the Club has delegated other positions to assist in areas such as Site Safety/Site Repair and also making things abit more social in the form of events both through training/repacks and BBQ's. 5. Site Operations - Rob deGroot 6. Sub Committees Commercial Operations Sub Committee Larry Davis and Chris Boyce Site Maintenance / Landcare Ken Hutt, Darren Sandri, Dan Palmer (in his absence) Site Safety Mark Mitsos Website co-ordinator Peter Wennersten Events Tony Sandeberg (in his absence) Training Larry Davis, Chris Boyce 7. Memberships Officer - Cameron Thomas (self nominated seconded DB) All positions were unanimously voted in. I thank those who have "raised their hand" in taking up these positions and to those members who whilst they may not be inclined to formally contribute do so by way of adhering to site rules/ contributing to the social aspects of the Club and raising issues in a proactive way.
