We will be back, and we wish everyone good health, strength & patience, in what is surely a trying time for everybody.

17.01.2022 Information for clients who may not have received my email Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their patience while I took some time to get some clarification as to whether or not we are an essential service and whether any of our procedures needed to be amended in order to be compliant to the COVID 19 pandemic. As of Monday (20/04/2020), Spics & Specs Cleaning Solutions are recommencing services.... I have taken a lot of time gathering information and researching government and health regulations. Below are some of the steps we shall be implementing. 1. Team members have been informed that I require them to complete the COVID 19 infection control training course before returning to work so they have a clear understanding of the current information available. 2. I have reassessed our usage of gloves & hand sanitizer, giving my team a clearer method on when and how to use them correctly to ensure we do not cross contaminate. 3. Currently we must adhere to social distancing measures . This does not mean you need to leave your home while we are completing a service. However we will need for you (and your family) to be in a separate area of the home while we clean a section of the house and then we can swap ends (so to speak). 4. Each client will receive a message from me at least 24hrs before an upcoming scheduled service, inquiring as to whether you would like us to attend that appointment and whether it is safe to do so. It will include some personal questions as to the well being of the people in your home and whether or not there is a possibility of any COVID 19 cases. Nobody but myself can see the information you send back and it will be strictly confidential. This is a Worksafe Australia recommendation to assist in keeping yourself, your family and my team safe. 5. At this stage we are not required to wear face shields or masks. However I do have some on order which I am waiting to receive. I have not put this measure in place due to concerns of contracting the virus, it is more of a deterrent to remind my staff not to touch their own face while working. I understand that these are stressful times and not everybody will be in a position where it is convenient to have us return to their home to clean. This afternoon I will be sending out personal text messages for all clients that were scheduled for services this week. Please let me know as soon as possible as to whether or not you would like to recommence yet as this will assist with planning my rosters.
