19.01.2022 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.

19.01.2022 On my lounge room wall. #iloveblues #calm #soothesmysoul

16.01.2022 I have had the absolute honour of creating this commission for a beautiful lady in Burnie. I was given the freedom to paint what I felt for her. I saw a pure heart, and the desires of her heart being revealed. Every colour resembles the discovery of a new dream or talent, hidden since the beginning. I hope this message inspires someone. xxx

13.01.2022 I think it's nearly done. I love the mystery of it... it's what I describe as an ambiguous landscape ! It even has an extra pool of light . Titled: "I Will Ascend". #giantwave #massivehill #thisismyjourney

09.01.2022 "I Will Ascend". Acrylic on canvas. 1.2 x 1.8m. Resembling the life journey that we find ourselves on. What we desire is right there, ahead of us - as we keep walking. All we need to do is look.

09.01.2022 Work in progress...is it a wave or hill? I think I want it to be both .

09.01.2022 This painting has taken a year to paint. I wanted the feeling of a giant wave about to break. It's 1.8 x 1.2m! I'm beautifully in over my head." (lyrics, Jenn Johnson). #waveoflove #overwhelmme #iamoutofmydepth #godislove

07.01.2022 We’re far from the shallow now. I was inspired by the song Shallow; such beautiful lyrics, and for me, all about taking risk and stepping out of what’s comfortable. This painting has been over a year in the making. Some things take time, and frustrate you because they don’t look like how you want them to! I have hated this process.... and given up on it for months at a time. Which is why I’ve included the evolving stages, to see the journey. I wanted to paint a stormy sea... at dusk, because I feel that reflects life when it’s messy, scary and tough. Sometimes you need to keep moving forward, even when it is daunting and things around you are crumbling. That’s when courage and empathy for other’s hardships is grown in you. I hope this inspires you to step out of the familiar and into new territory. Prints available soon, msg for details. See more

05.01.2022 My fave..until I get a chance to paint some more...

04.01.2022 I wanted to evoke an uplifting sense of freedom and hope. This is my latest painting; it's still in process. I'm unsure of which direction the wings should be reaching. Any feedback is much appreciated :).
