The program presented by the Hopkins Centre and Griffith University aims to promote access to technology for people living with a disability through better design, and better adaption of technology. The Spinal Life member is Queensland’s first ever doctor with quadriplegia and has become a vocal disability advocate since his accident in 2010, especially in regards to accessibility and inclusion in the medical industry. Tim joined the Spinal Life team in 2019, to provide one-on-one support and mentoring to newly injured patients and their families at the Princess Alexandra Hospital’s Spinal Injuries Unit, as well as in the community.
