22.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 6: At the end of your work day, take a tech break by going for a walk outside, cooking a meal, reading a book or starting a new hobby. www.workingfromhome.org.au I just finished reading Atomic Habits (great book!), any suggestions? 21.01.2022 LET'S BEAT THIS TOGETHER! Stage 4 Restrictions update. To our Spine and Joint Health care family, Before we provide you with an update we hope each and everyone of you are keeping well, safe and healthy during these trying times.... In light of the new stage 4 restrictions and DHHS guidelines, our clinic can now only provide treatment for URGENT CARE and will not be able to provide routine treatments. Therefore care will only be provided: - If it is considered ‘essential’ and where not receiving care is likely to lead to a significant deterioration in your health - To avoid a hospital admission or emergency department presentation Dr Christian and Dr Clancy will be available on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS to receive emergency phone calls and see patients at the clinic if required (based on DHHS criteria). We will do our best to assist you over the phone wherever we can. If you already have an appointment booked in with us one of our friendly staff will be in contact with you shortly to reschedule. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused to all of our amazing patients but we will endeavour to get everyone’s health back to optimal in 6 weeks time. Remember, we are all in this together! So from the bottom of our hearts, stay safe, stay healthy and please stay home!

20.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 5: While working at home, make sure to take a quick break every 30 minutes, by getting up and moving. The Straighten Up app is also a great tool to help get you moving with its three-minute stretching program designed to help improve your spinal health, posture and overall wellbeing. Download the free app from the App Store or Google Play. www.straightenup.org.au If you have any further questions, Dr. Clancy & Dr. Christian will be in the clinic Monday & Thursday respectively to answer any queries - 9772 6307

17.01.2022 We would like to reassure you that at this stage we are still open following the return of stage 3 restrictions. As always, we are exercising stringent hygiene practices and also have social distancing guidelines in place. In addition, all practitioners will now be wearing face masks in accordance with recent recommendations from the Deputy Chief Medical officer. We also ask for your help to protect our staff, fellow patients and the community. If you are feeling unwell, expe...riencing respiratory and/or flu like symptoms (including runny nose, fever and cough), we ask that you please call to reschedule your appointment and seek medical advice. Our heart goes out to our fellow Victorians but together we can do this! Please look after yourselves and others. Best wishes and stay safe- The team at Spine and Joint #spineandjoint, #flattenthecurve

10.01.2022 #WorkingFromHome tip 1: If you don't have a separate study in your home, setting up your office on the kitchen table can be a great alternative. Just remember to bring your ergonomic chair to the table and sit with your shoulders back and relax, with either both feet on the floor or on a foot rest. www.workingfromhome.org.au. If you have any further questions, Dr. Clancy & Dr. Christian will be in the clinic Monday & Thursday respectively to answer any queries - 9772 6307

Please ensure that you reach out to a friend or loved one if you need support.... As most of you know, we were really looking forward to opening our doors and seeing our beloved patients from next week.
