16.05.2022 BE ALERT PEOPLE!! Yarra valley areas such as Wandin, Wandin North and Wandin East and surrounding areas... my sons 2yr old kelpie dog was recently poisoned and ...killed, as someone is baiting dogs in the area. I have since found out that 4 other neighboring farm dogs have also died in the past 2-3 weeks. We suspect thieves are killing the dogs to burglarise the farms as police have advised this occurred a few years ago in neighbouring suburbs. Thieves apparently poisoned the dogs to allow easier access and not to attract attention and then burglarised the property...so stay alert and lock up everything and keep your pets safe! It’s sad that society has become like this. Hope this post helps stop this from occurring and no one else has to go through this! See more
