09.01.2022 Home is where your wheel is. Last year our group visited and spun at the old North Ipswich Woollen Mill. The mill was once the centre of the textile industry locally and we are hoping that it once again becomes a place of community.

09.01.2022 Introducing offspring to hands on spinning on a wheel can be fun!

08.01.2022 Dorothy spinning her yarns at the Cooneana Heritage Centre, Ipswich. Thanks to ICC Tourism who also arranged it. It will be posted in the Myer Centre in Brisbane as well as other places. Congratulations for a great photo!

06.01.2022 Spinning in public is an opportunity to get out and enjoy some of our parks and other local sites. Belinda and I chose our first meet in 2020 in this gem of design and tranquility. 35 degrees, no public, a little rain and a theatening storm. Good to be here.

04.01.2022 Weather to wear a kilt?

01.01.2022 We were out on Saturdays open making a fibre presence. A good position of 2 sq m with us sitting in front of shop and wares at the back. A it was a great day, limited sales but we met lots of local supporting a new community space in town. Dorothy&Mieke
