12.01.2022 Around once a year, when flu season rolls around, we usually issue a reminder to members to be considerate of others if they are ill and stay away from the Guild. In light of current events we are going to be more direct. As COVID 19 spreads quickly and inexorably around the globe the committee would ask the following: - that if you are unwell or living with someone who is unwell please do not attend the Guild.... - that if you or someone in your household has travelled to an area considered high risk then please do not attend the Guild. - that if there is any chance that you have been exposed please follow the government's medical guidelines up to and including self quarantine. This is asked out of concern for the welfare of all of our members. Some of us are immunocompromised, some more senior in years and some have other underlying issues. None of us wants to get sick. If the government advises that large meetings are discouraged or need to be cancelled then we may cancel meetings until we are advised that the risk is reduced. If you do become ill, please get help and don't try tough it out. We want to see all of our members happy and healthy at the Christmas party. Wishing you all a healthy 2020.
