24.01.2022 Its true. That's how we all got here. There's a lot of misinformation about the "dangers" of a home birth or a free birth.. Yes sometimes complications arise, but that's not the majority. That's not the norm. Women have been birthing since we have existed and medical intervention is a relatively new thing on this human existence timeline. Its time that we remembered that. Its time that we remembered our inherent capabilities. Our bodies were made for birthing.... The biggest limitations we face come from our own psyches and the psyches of those around us. If someone you love wants to homebirth or freebirth, don't fill them with fearful rhetoric. Engage them in a conversation, ask them if they have resources, if they feel supported, confident, well informed. Its time to take it back. Birth is NOT a medical condition. Its is natural, normal, beautiful, healthy, safe and its our birthright to birth how we know is best for us. For those who willingly choose a medically supported birth- i support you doing what feels right for you. For those who willingly choose a non medically supported birth- i support you doing what feels right for you. Trust your body.
