24.01.2022 Princess of Wales - I have adored her since I was a little girl. A role model of grace and a bit of rebel actually. Imagine a royal family with such politics and expectations of suppression and following protocol - the courage and determination it took to stand out, to break tradition, to hug sick "commoners", to travel to places and walk across fields full of old landmines to show that if its too dangerous for a princess, why are we allowing children to play there. Where ...protocol forbids showing emotion - to display it so freely. Diana taught me to reach for something better in life, to give freely of your energy and to never ever give up your own values to please others, or conform to their fears, just to fit in. Choose where you belong - make your own tribe.

06.01.2022 In the moments it feels like all is lost, I breathe. I try to remind myself that in this pain is hidden potential. When every structure around me seems to fail - then I can truly see what will stand the test of time, and where i can trust enough and be bold enough to build a new, stronger scaffold. Growing hurts sometimes - and this makes us stronger. Courage, determination and energy will be your hallmarks as you emerge your new, stronger you. It's what you choose to do next that counts.

01.01.2022 i loved this quote when I saw it - I Was reminded of that feeling of freedom I had in montana last year, riding horseback with the local indians across the prairie. I wasn't sure who Anne was, so I googled her. and almost cried. Anne was the teacher of Hellen Keller - both inspirational, spirited people. As a young girl i/ remember reading Helen and Anne's story in almost disbelief. How could they both have so much courage, determination and energy to overcome the circumst...ances of Helen being deaf, blind and dumb. Seeing what is possible when people refuse to beleive it is impossible - plus a good dose of stubborness, and the light whip of desperation ....is just magically inspiring. Yet I bet neither did what they did for any purpose beyond their own. I doubt they imagined their story would go global and inspire so many. What a beautiful coincidence to find this quote today, and remind myself to push a little harder, and be grateful for my sight and my hearing and my voice. Surely I have no reason to hold back from giving life all I have. Choose growth, you never know when your own journey to grow will inspire someone else's.
