15.01.2022 Whilst in Melbourne celebrating our business we just had to introduce you to the Mornington Peninsula wine region and a fabulous vineyard with the most quirky of names! . Ten Minutes by Tractor began in 1997 with three family owned vineyards in Main Ridge, all ten minutes by tractor apart. Bought by Karen and Martin Spedding who have since added a new cellar door, restaurant and a fabulous four new new vineyards. .... Wine production on the Peninsula dates back to 1886, when Dromana wine won an honourable mention in the Intercontinental Exhibition. . The main grape varieties grown in the Mornington Peninsula region being Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. However some of the more innovative plantings include Pinot Gris, Semillon and Sauvignon. . This beautiful region can be compared to the fabulous wine producing regions of France. The coastal influence providing high summer humidity and rainfall. With the late ripening and a prolonged gentle autumn, result in fully ripe grapes with outstanding fruit flavours. . With over 150 vineyards and boasting 40 wineries with cellar doors it’s a must if you find yourself able to pop out here and enjoy this diverse wine region with that mix of stunning coastlines and beautiful rural backdrops. #repost @10xtractor

09.01.2022 FRIDAY NIGHT DRINKS Are Friday night drinks good for Business? Friday Night Drinks are a long-standing Aussie tradition. After a long week, and everyone has seemingly super hard. Is there a better excuse to bring out the wine and beers and relax with your workmates? ... . It’s now ingrained in many a workplace culture, but are Friday arvo drinking sessions actually good for business? . Are their benefits, there are certainly risks? Is this something your business/workplace embraces? . It can help relieve stress All roles have pressures irrelevant of which industry you are in, some of course more than others.Friday Night Drinks are a good way to take the pressure down a little and let your team relax and socialise. . It can promote good workplace culture Workplace culture is important to mental health, and a toxic culture can lead to a heap of problems for employees and employers. . While Friday Night Drinks are not the magic solution, they can certainly help if done right. Enabling an informal and relaxed atmosphere can remind your employees you value them as people, not just workers. It can also remind folks that managers and bosses are still human, and encourage open communications. . It can enhance communication and teamwork and help with social connectedness! . Especially in larger workplaces, cross function communications can get lost. An advantage of Friday night drinks is removing these role-specific lines and getting all your the teams together in a social space. When back at work on Monday folks may now feel comfortable bringing up the customer issues with support once these communication lines are open! . All that aside humans are social creatures, a healthy workplace encourages social interaction. Friday Night Drinks can create an opportunity for human connection, especially for those that are quieter and struggle with social connectedness. . What does your Friday night drinks look like ? Do you go ? Would you go if your employer hosted this ? And what would you drink ?

02.01.2022 WEDDING WINE!! Last year we hosted a Three Birds family wedding, even for us choosing a selection of Wedding Wines was challenging particularly when we work with so many fabulous boutique winemakers! .... Being Wine Curators and having access to some magnificent Australian Wines we can source your wedding wine this year! . If organising your own catering often the venue expects you to organise the drinks, another daunting task of many! . It can be difficult to choose wines for the wider group and then select a couple of favourites for the top table because there are so many fabulous bottles to choose from and then theirs the food pairing, temperature and feeding the masses, it’s a challenge. We recommend to keep it simple, choose a white wine that's light and refreshing (like a sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio), and stick with a red that's a little bit on the crisp and fruity side (like a pinot noir), since both can go well with a variety of food. Then pick a mild champagne or prosecco to hit the bubbly note. With a younger crowd we have had to throw in a Moscato too! . As long as the wines offer pleasant flavors that appeal to the masses then you generally should be all set Let us take the stress out of your Wedding Wine! . #weddingwine #sydneybride #winetime #wineatweddings #foodandwinepairing #weddings
